Full Version: Twins...What are my chances ?

Just curious to know as DH and I are currently TTC, what are my chances of having twins.
DH has no twins on his side but I have identical twin cousins, my Dads brothers daughters.
Does this come down in my line.

Would love to know if there was a wee chance. I would love twins not sure how DH would take it though...lol

Identical twins are not hereditary.

Non-identical (fraternal) twins are as they are produced by women releasing more than one egg at ovulation.

The chances are roughly 1/80 for twins. (goes up to about 10-15% if you are on clomid)
