How do you get your twins (or more-Nee) to wlak in these things. I have just started to try and use them and went to the park. From the car to the park was fine but on the way back to the car they both went dwon on hands and knees and wouldn't move! They did the same thing the next time I tried.

I notice that Nee has them on her 3 in her sig photo. How did you get them to walk in them and walk the same direction as each other and you LOL?

Any ideas much appreciated as they would be so handy for Kindy drop offs instead of the pram.

Oh what fun this is! I had the same problems you have. One of my girls would drop to the ground & would not get up. My best thing to do was to hold onto Kateleigh's hand (the child that would NOT walk in the harness) & put Danika in the harness.

Danika was my worst "runner" so it was do-able. I found it very hard though, & I'm only just starting to let them walk next to me (other wise they would both just take off on me cool.gifo:

Good luck

Hi Letitia, I had similar problems and didn't persevere. The pram was easier for us so I stopped trying the harnesses. Sorry I can't help. I wasn't doing anything like Kindy drop-offs and I can imagine how much easier it would be than unloading the pram. Hope someone else has some suggestions for you.

Hmmmmmmmm, now that's a good question! They don't always like to walk in the same direction, and if they are trying to go different ways, I generally just grab their hands and redirect them. I think it just takes practice?? (on their part - not yours lol)

My three do go down on their knees at times too, but it's only when they are tired, and don't want to walk anymore, so maybe just try shoter distances to start with??

HTH,

Letitia
The shorter trip thing may be a good idea. I was also just thinking more about it and where I have tried them they go to the place very well but not back to the car. That is probably because they would like to stay at Kindy and the park, I guess that comes witht he territory though!

I will keep perservering!

We put ours in harnesses 3hrs before we went on holidays. the first 30minutes was absolute disaster. We took them off waited another 1/2hour put them back on & tried food -success!!

2 hrs later we were at the airport and they were so interested in everything I had no problems w/ having both of them at once.

We've had them in harnesses for almost 5wks now & yes I do hold their hands if they "drop" but usually if there's food available they're like putty in my hands -at least for now.

Perseverance is def. the key to having a little control, it was either that or having them play in the traffic..
