Hi everyone, I have three and a half year old boys and an 18 month old daughter and I'm getting a bit bored with the things I'm cooking for them. I seem to stuck in a rut- spaghetti bolognaise (with lots of hidden vegies), chicken, rissotto, osso bucco casserole, vegetarian pasta. I'm not complaining as they eat very well- lots of fruit, vegies, meat etc but I'd like some new ideas. They used to love soup but the boys aren't keen on it at the moment. Now I've written this, it reminds me that I should dig out a good recipe for patties (vegetarian and meat... maybe fish as I never cook fish and I should)!

I haven't tried making them pizzas for ages as they prefer the ones from our local pizza shop (which we order instead of cooking for big extended family gatherings.

Anyone got any good dinner meal suggestions?

Thanks, Maycee

It's so boring cooking all the time. The girls are really into noodles of any description... So stirfry a couple of nights a week. Quick and easy to do. amber is madly in love with couscous doesn't matter what I put in it... Risoni is another hit with peas and chicken mince. Omlettes with avocado, cheese. ham etc...

My two are good eaters as well. lots of fruit and vegetables but olivia cant tolerate alot of foods so I have to do fairly plain foods.

They ask for noonles(noodles) all the time and it's not as messy as spaghetti..

Cheers Rebecca

My girls love hokian noodles too, they also like ravioli, little pizza with salami and stuff on it, omlette, stir frys, chicken tonight (honey mustard) and rice, meat balls and spaghetti, tuna mornay, macaroni cheese, fish fillets, tuna salad with crutons and stuff in it, chicken patties, sausages, ... hope that gives you some more ideas.

Cheers
