Thanks for the well wishes and congratulations.....

I am taking advantage of the gap between feeds and quickly posting a couple of pics for you all.

Monday 21st March 2005 ~ Hayden Phillip made his entrance at 8:38am, weighing 5lb 10oz and measuring 47 cm's long. Not requiring any breathing assistance or intervention. Daddy cut his cord and he stayed in Dads arms to witness the birth of his little sisiter Brooklen Lily at 8:40am, weighing 6lb 11oz and measuring 50 cm's. Brooklen also given a clean bill of health and handed to Dad to admire......

The whole proceedure was amazing and one of the most memorable and emotional days of our lives.
We were back on the ward within an hour of their arrival and they were soon getting cuddles by big sister Ebony, grandparents and one very proud obsetrician!!

We were discharged on SAturday last week and have spent countless hours just 'looking' and watching them both take breath's! We are in awe of them and I cant imagine our lives with out them.

I keep gaining reassurance from Phil that I am not dreaming, and I know its really all our dreams that have come true.

Breast feeding both of them successfully (so far so good) and loving each single moment of being a Mum!! Finally.....

Hayden is still below his birth weight and we are on 3 hourly feeds with him, Brooklen thriving and sleeping up to 6-7 hours at a time!

To be blessed with a boy and a girl is an absolute dream come true for us as a family and we are both so happy that we waited until the day to find out..it was such a exciting moment to hear the Dr. scream its a boy! and its a Girl! Lovely just lovely......

Thanks for all the advice and support you have all provided me with - I am sure I will be be annoying you for more as the days go on.

A huge congrats to you all on the birth of your gorgeous son and daughter, Hayden and Brooklen. Sounds like you are off to a great start with your bubs. I know how you feel when you say your dreams came true. I still cant believe we produced a girl and a boy and they continue to amaze me. So glad that your breastfeeding is going well. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. I know I got more info from these ladies than from anyone in the real world.

Congrats Haylie,
Your babies are beautiful! Twins truly are special so enjoy every moment with them. I still manage to lose a few hours just watching them play, learn, explore and of course sleeping!
