Hey EB lads and lasses,

anyone on here an avid gamer? game during your downtime?

What do you play? what's your level of involvement/commitment?

Me:

World of Warcraft
Starcraft 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops (mostly Zombies)

At the moment that is me, either the PC or Xbox 360.

What's your game?

I know there are a few WoW players here. Not sure about many others...

I mainly stick to (at the moment) Fifa 11, Dawn of War II, RDR and a bunch of other mainly offline games. Well, when I get the time (which is rare).
missgeorgina
I've just started playing Call of Duty - Black Ops although it's been a very long time since I played a first person shooter game and I'm still getting used to the thumbsticks lol.
jupiter123
I was an EVE player, but since having bubs and working full-time I don't seem to have the time anymore
pallydaddy
Yeah, time certainly is a factor.

I usually sneak in some game time after DS goes down or after my 5:00 AM run.
babybeli
I was a WOW player. Played of a night after the kids went to bed. Thinking about getting back into it or maybe playing Rift.
hyperion
This thread is going to make me cry - oh for the lost days and nights of playing starcraft, age of Empires, warcraft (none of this WoW sh*t) and Halo....

2 children later I'm now reduced to iphone games which are a sad and sorry substitute.

Where do you others find the time?

This is me... although I'm really bad at it biggrin.gif
Giltine
WoW, my latest obsession. Facebook games, that I spend way too much time than I should on. Starcraft (1 and 2), Diablo2, Torchlight, Random sonic games I have on the PS3, Final Fantasy (all of them) on the PS3.

I'm a nerd. My DF is a nerd, and I'm sure any children we have in the future will be as well. Tounge1.gif

LOL love its Gil.

Hyperion, I usually have to make the time. It might mean waking up a little earlier, running for 30 minutes and sneak in some time. Or sacraficing some sleep to plays an hour.

I find it's worth it.
ForsakenTruth
EQII (Everquest 2) as far as mmorpgs go. I used to play Eve but it's a bit boring a long winded. Earth and Beyond was brilliant before friggin' EA games killed it.

I like most strategy games like Starcraft, Warcraft and various others.
I am also a big Dues X and Halflife fan.
I like some of the classics like Doom and Hexen. All good fun.
Escapin
I play EB while DH plays WOW... And we both laugh at each other biggrin.gif
ironbutterfly
I'm a ps3 girl and before that ps2, usually play online with my brothers when I have time. Mostly Call of Duty or Battelfield BC and what ever else we feel like. They keep trying to get me play Red Redemption atm but we've moved and I haven't set everything up yet.
My DH just rolls his eyes, but he doesn't care aslong as he gets computer.

Rift is awesome.

DP and I are both long time wow players, now playing rift. DP is also a big xbox360 gamer.

We're old school paper based roleplayers and (him at least) table top miniatures games as well. so I think as Gil said....

World of Warcraft, 3 night a week raider. biggrin.gif

Sims 3 and soon Sims Medieval!!! *Squeeeeeee* I will sometimes play a PS3 game if it's something like Harry Potter LEgo, but I'm not really into shooters or sandbox.
Evelina Ashmore
Pre-child I used to play role play games such as Civilization, Tomb Raider, Sims etc.

Don't really have time any more though.
peebs
I play Sims 3, and Age of Empires 3 with DH and my brother when we're all having a boring Saturday night. I just started with Sims Medieval last weekend too.
Cath-In-SA
How much are you hanging out for Medievel, Lillijen? It will be my Mothers Day present so I will have to wait until then. I don't know how it will contribute to me doing future 'mothering' but anyway........ wink.gif

I am a Sims player. So bad is my addiction that my Mum bought be a Hogan's Deep Fried Diner T-Shirt for Christmas. I don't spend any real money on clothes or furniture though.
Lyra
I am patiently waiting for Diablo 3 to come out. I fear it will not be for some time yet *sob*

I am dying for it SO BAD. I can't have it until after April 20th though, because I'm on dodgy roaming wireless with only 1.5g download, and the estore version (which i've taken to getting so I don't lose serial numbers!) is a 10G download sad.gif DH has downloaded it on our Brisbane limit, but that computer doesn't come up for another 3 weeks *cry*

A review said it was so good - all his favourite bits of the Sims kept with all the irritants removed and that MMORPGs should take a look at the questing systems, they flowed so well. I am MEGA excited.

Yep I used to play Astonia and was in the top 100 payers in the world. But since having kids time is of the essence and I had to go cold turkey and give up. I soooo miss the 16 hour sessions!!! Actually my username on EB is the same as my gamer username, aaah the memories biggrin.gif
LambChop
I'm on a WoW break, cata just hasn't grabbed me. Currently playing Rift while waiting for the new Star Wars MMO to come out later this year. Plus Black Ops. All on PC.

And where's the time ? I'm a nightowl who only needs about 6 hours sleep, there is plenty of time original.gif

This thread really made me miss my games! I used to play wow, eve & aion. When I was 7 months preg with ds I quit cold turkey. I knew I wouldn't have time for them once ds arrived. I cant wait til I can get some 'me' time back. Ds is 5.5 months and I'm nearly 10 weeks with #2 so I'm guessing that won't be for ages!
