im 18 weeks pregnant and have been dreaming of baby names since 6th week..but 2 years ago had a miscarrage at 20 weeks so have tried not to get too excited..but i just cant help it..i KNOW that this baby is guna go all the way and im just so crazy excited about it...

so could you all please let me know what you think of my names and suggest any u might think il like..

im maori and my dh is indian so the baby will be a lovely brown colour..maybe this impacts on names?

I would choose from Ivy, Ruby and Tallulah for a girl and Raphael and Jasper are my favourites for a boy. I think I'd lean towards Tallulah and Raphael for a baby of that appearance though.

The girls' names are less extreme reactions, mostly. Like many are nice with fewer loves or hates. I quite like these though.

Camille - I don't think it's very 'pretty'.

I also like Lexie, Piper and Jasmine (though I know a beautiful mixed race Chinese/Western Gypsy girl with this name and it fits so perfectly its hard to imagine on anyone else!)

For boys I can't get past the Mike association for Tyson
Raphael I love, but it could be a difficult name to wear, and I prefer the nn "Rafe"
Dashiel could be cool, love the nn "Dash" too.

I like Camille, Lena, Evie, and Karera for girls' names, but only Miles for a boy.

Maybe try and convince DP to use Stanley as a middle name or, if that doesn't work, maybe play that Eminem song over and over until he gets a bad association?

I think Miles Franklin is a good name combination (lol).

I have an Evelyn (we call her Evie from time to time).
I also have a Tiffany and my little girl really suits it and we love it (she has curly blonde hair, blue eyes & big smile). Not sure if it would suit Indian as much.

do you think the appearence of the baby should influence the name for example if the baby is very dark with dark curly hair,,,which i suspect will be the case..do u think some of the names on my list are too...for lack of a better way to say.."white girl" names...my little sister seems to think so....
