Hi,
Have to apologise as I don't have twins by my new bub when he is born in 2 weeks will make the gap between my two boys 13 months so I am searching for a good double pram.
I bought a real dud for my first and don't want to do that again. I am deciding between the Love n Care Twin Sporty Jogger and at the moment we are leaning towards the BabyLove Duo Lite Twin Jogger. The Love n Care doesn't have the seperate foot rests (and I have big long boys). I also think it uses straps to adjust the back rests which drove me mad with my last pram (they broke and I had to tie them every time). Whereas the Babylove Duo Lite uses a click bar to adjust etc.
However I really don't know much about twin prams and was hoping a few of you who may have the BabyLove can tell me how you are finding it.
Thanks heaps,
Danielle

Hi and congratulations - you must be getting excited about having a new baby. I don't have any experience with that twin jogger but have you checked the sticky at the top of this board "which pram?" - may be some help.

Hi Danielle
How exciting, you are so close now!
I have actually been trying to decide between these two prams myself and have posted on the thread named Love N Care Sporty twin jogger. I have been looking at these two prams for AGES! and couldn't decide. I liked the look of the Babylove Duolite the best and wanted to go with that one, but practicality won over vanity in the end. The Love N Care is actually 65cms from wheel to wheel and the Babylove is 75 cms. The Love N Care is designed to fit through a standard doorway and the 10 cms difference in width made me decide in the end to go with the narrower one. I thought I would be cursing myself if I bought the babylove and then couldn't get through some doorways...
They are both about 14-15 kgs in weight and both will carry about 20-22kgs each side so I needed something to distinguish between the two. I don't really remember how they both adjusted but I vaguely remember that the Babylove Duolite adjusts by straps as well?
My mum knows someone with the Love N Care and the only thing she doesn't like about it, is that the baskets underneath are hard to get to, but they are very similar to the Babylove anyway. She also liked the Love N Care as it had separate sun hoods for bubs and toddler to have them up or down separately, plus she is tall and the handle bar is taller than the babylove. The also liked the cover over the middle cnetre bar with the Love N Care and the separate boot covers so you could cover bubs if he needed and leave toddler free.
Good luck with your decisison!!!!

Hi Danielle,
I posted a reply this morning to your same question on the product reviews board with my comments.
But incase anyone is wondering quick story... I had a baby love when my boys were first born that was faulty asd we ended up the the Love n Care sporty twin as a replacement. Baby love did get stuck in quite a few doors but apart from that all good. We do love our sporty twin the best.
Now all we need is for someone to put separate foot rests and multi position recline (not straps!) on the Love n Care and we will have the ULTIMATE TWIN PRAM!
Hope that helps

This could be the ultimate pram - i just bought the Love n Care twin sporty (because it will fit through a standard door) - but wanted to check out this Steelcraft - but Babies Galore didn't know zip or have it in stock yet, nor did Steelcraft get back to me (it's not on there website yet):

Choose the Sporty Twin Trust me you will not be disapointed it is a fantastic Pram the baby love looks cheap and nasty and bulky in comparision ,
oh and resale is real good, I just sold mine cause I have a high 4X4 Rodeo and I have hurt my back so couldn't lift it into the boot anymore , very sad as I loved the pram so much

Cheers Renee

Hi all,
Wow this post has really got me thinking! I have put the duo-lite on layby as I took it for a spin with DW and didn't have a drama with doors, liked the quality of build, adjustable leg rests, boot cover and it also looked nice, however, it is obvious there are some people out there having troubles with doorways which concerns me.
I honestly thought the love n care twin sporty jogger looked and felt a little cheap and tacky, but saying that it is getting excellent reviews.
That Steelcraft jogger appears good by that picture, so maybe need to have a look at that one too and go test driving again !!
Will report back.
Kind regards,
Scott

Mrs Blud, I have also been looking at the Steelcraft one on the Babies Galore website. Funny that you mention it today, as I actually just called Steelcraft to ask some questions about it. I called their customer service number. The lady told me that it is due to arrive in Australia mid April and it usually takes a week before they get into the stores after this, as apparently they check each one first? so in the stores the 3rd week of April. I asked the dimensions and she said it is 97x77x45. We assumed 97 length, 77 width and 45 depth. She said it fits through a standard 78cm doorway. She also said the seat capacity is 17kg per seat.
My layby at Baby Kingdom for the Love N Care Twin Sporty won't need to be paid out until mid June so I will definitely be checking this pram out and may swap? But.....the Love N Care is still narrower 71 cms from widest point (65cms from wheel to wheel) and takes up to 22kgs each side so may last longer?
Scott, I thought the same thing about the Love N Care and really liked the look of the Babylove but ended up going with the Love N Care due to the narrower width. I agree also that I have read great reviews about the Love N Care, so am going to stick with that at the moment (depending on what I think of the Steelcraft one when it comes out). I swapped my colour from the destiny to the crystal blue after reading the post on this pram on this thread and seeing the pictures. The crystal blue looks more like the solid colours of the Babylove. Good luck with your choice!

hi all, my girls are almost 2 and i'm upto my second twin pram. Bought the Babylove duolite last year and LOVE IT. Have not encountered a doorway yet that I cant fit through... SO LIGHT TO PUSH. Holds 20 kilos each side. My original one couldn't fit through doors but i really notice the space difference the girls have compared to the original.
The narrower the pram the less space the kids have(shoulder room) anyhow know that the whole pram issue is a personal thing. Bought my duolite on ebay for $365 which was a bargain as we live in Cairns and there are only 2 baby shops. only one stocked it for $500.
No complaints yet... Rebecca
