Does anyone have advice on International Egg Donor Programs?

At the end of the year I'll reach the cut-off age for IVF treatment. Because most of our friends are well over the egg donor age limit, I've started researching Anonymous Egg Donor programs but there's a vast shortage of egg donors in Australia.

I'm interested in any advice that anyone can offer us on Overseas Fertility Clinics.

In recent weeks I've read some dubious stories of women seeking fertility treatment in India. I'm not sure I want to go there for treatment as most of the articles I've read claim that fertility industry in India is unregulated.

I'm more interested in the clinics in Spain or Greece - I'd appreciate any tips/guidance that anyone can offer us.

Thanks - Bimba

www.miraclebaby.com - they are based in Bangkok but dont get the wrong idea - i myslef donated there and it was extremely professional and the staff are fantastic. Direct any emails to Rita - she takes care of international clients and answers all enquiries and gives instructions via email etc very quickly after you email her. As i have reached the legal amount of families to donate to , i and another aussie couple flew to the clinic after doing all the drugs and tests here in australia, and had egg pick up and transfer there.
They also have proven donors there aged 24-30 who are fertile.

If i can help you further please PM me original.gif

i also forgot - the whole cycle cost my recipients $5500 ( not including airfares which are cheap now)complete with my hormone drugs. They also have caucasian donors.

Thanks for the advice - I will look into this organisation original.gif

Hi Bimba

I dont know much about Thailand or India but am currently looking into Spain & South Africa. Looking at Gift OV Life & Global Egg donors in South Africa & Institut Marquès’ in Spain. I have found that the South Afican places are better at providing information. Spain wont provide too much until I speak with the doctors at a cost of AUD $200. At this stage we are looking at South Africa.

Not wanting to take over your post but I would love to hear from anyone who has used OS donor programs as well.

Good luck with your journey. keep us posted with how you go.
