Well I am 36 weeks on Monday, and I guess I am quite normal to be finding the waiting soooooooo hard.

I had a scan this week and approximate weights were: Twin A 5lb 11oz and Twin B 6lb 3oz........so pretty good for 35 weeks.

My Ob was going to set a date for induction also, but as both babies are now head down and there is no reason why I won't go naturally into labour, he just winks and says maybe we will set a date next visit.........

I can't wait to meet these guys and have days when I just wish the wait was over.

Rachel - the waiting is hard isn't it! Though that is easy for me to say - I only went a couple of days over what you now are. But I had a threatened prem labour at 26 weeks, and was told it would be "any day now" - we did not want them to come early, by any means, but let me tell yo, 9 weeks of "any day now" was a long time original.gif

They are great sizes! About the same as Matthew and Erin were, and they only had overnight in special care because they ended up being born by c-section, and we all came home on day 5.

Good luck original.gif

Hi Rach!

Tell me about the waiting! OMG, we are on a day by day basis and visiting the Ob twice a week. We have everything ready to run out the door, all the forms are signed for anything that may crop up, clothes are washed, ironed,& packed, the cots are ready, the car seats in - camera loaded! Just waiting for the moment to arrive. It has dragged for me since I finished work..32 weeks. But I am happy to bake them for as long as they need.
My Ob and the peadetricians here will not induce anyone with twins prior to 37 weeks unless there is a medical reason to. But once you get to the magic 37, cry, scream and demand some action LOL...
I laughed at the storied here where ladies are booked in for the 17th and the babies decide to come the day before!
I am counting restless nights, itchy bellies and nanna naps with you.
Take care and look very forward to reading your announcement soon!
BTW - the boys have fantatsic weights too! Good work....

No_idea!
[color=Blue]I think I must be abnormal because I wasn't in a hurry to meet my babies. I don't mean that it in a bad way, but I was so loving being pregnant, and I felt that I could take good care of the babies while they were still in my belly. wink.gif I think I was a bit terrified of how I was going to cope when they were born, so I was hoping they'd stay put for as long as possible! But, of course, when they were born, they were so gorgeous and such good babies, so all my fears were unfounded.

Take care, Vanessa original.gif

Hi Rachel I totally remember what the last few weeks of waiting was like and I really empathise with you! But try to enjoy your last few days or weeks of being pregnant. I hope you are able to rest and take it easy. I was still waiting to meet my boys when I turned 38 weeks so you may have some time to go yet! Just remember that every extra day they get a little bit bigger and fatter so in that respect it's a good thing. Take care, original.gif
