Good Afternoon,
My name is Haylie, and I am currently 35 weeks gestation with twins. I am not too sure how much to go on about myself! My Husband is Phil and he has a 15 year old Daughter Ebony (my Step daughter) that lives with us in Kalgoorlie WA. Phil works in mining and I am a qualified Mechanical Fitter. Since completing my apprenticeship I have worked in many areas, councelling, apprenticeship co-ordinator and administrator. I am now looking forward to being a full time SAHM. Ebony is in year 10 at the local High school and has a finger in many pies including, sport, part-time job, motorbike riding and guitar learning.

One of my Midwives told me about this site when we got talking about multiple resourses etc. I am going really well at the moment and we dont know what the sex of our twins are. We decided the suprise would be more fun (now I am not too sure, for the shopping side of things).

We are prepared and ready for this to happen at any time, I have had 2 cases of pre-term labour commencing, but both were stopped in time, thankfully. Both babies (Fraternal) are going well and measuring well too.

After trying for aprox 3 years we fell naturally with twins, least to say my Ob was very overwhelmed when we told him we were pregnant on our very first visit to him! Both my Grandmother and Granfather are twins so I am the lucky daughter! We feel very priveliged to have this oppertunity and are looking forward to it emmensly.

I am sure that is enough about me - I am also new to forums etc, so If I ask a silly question, please let me know.

Are there any expectant, or Multiple mums here from Kalgoorlie??

Looking forward to getting to know you all.
My Ob has advised that we are on countdown now and I am seeing him 2 times a week.....its all getting very exciting! I have had the best pregnancy ever and - everyone I know cant believe I am carring twins! I know I am, I fall asleep very easily..

Thanks for listening - would love all the advice you can muster.

Hi Haylie,
How fantastic - you sound so happy and positive! Not long for you to go now original.gif
I am a very new mum of twins (one week today) and I am loving it, it's all I expected and more. I know I'm still in the 'honeymoon' phase of things, but so far so good!
I think a part of me couldn't believe I was carrying twins either until they were here and now I can't imagine only having 1.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and I look forward to finding out names/sexes.

Lisa
