I am very new to this forum stuff but am struggling to choose the name for our son from our list, so need all the help I can get. I love them all so it's making it really hard. We're using DH's first or middle name as his middle name so that's easy but it's the first name that I'm stuck on. What are your thoughts on these names (in no particular order):

Brodie John (was our boys name if our first DD was a boy - we now have friends who have a 12 year old son with the same name though so not sure if we have to cross that off cos its too weird)

Riley John

Jake Anthony

Connor Anthony (DH is worried that Connor could be shortened to Con which is more commonly Greek than Italian)

Any help is much appreciated original.gif

Connor Anthony would be my pick! i know a few Connors and have never heard them referred to as Con.
Dinosaurus
What is the first letter of your surname? We also use our first name as bubs middle name, DH is also "A" and our surname is C. So I have ruled out any names starting with S, D,V,W,Y...you get the picture!

My choice would be Jake, but only if your last name didn't make his initials JAM for example.

We're having trouble too - only because DH wants a say though laughing2.gif

Connor Anthony or Jake Anthony are btoh lovely choices original.gif I prefer Connor
fifi-trixibelle
Brodie John- ok, for me it would depend on how often you see the friends with Brodie etc

Riley John- Riley is lovely

Jake Anthony- I see Jake as a nickname only to Jacob or Jakob. Jacob/Jakob Anthony would be lovely

Connor Anthony- I love this

Connor Anthony is definitely my pick from the list as is but I'd love Jakob/Jacob Anthony with Jake as a nickname only too.
.:CowGirl:.
Connor Anthony is fantastic. I have known quite a few Connor's and have never heard one referred to as Con.

Jake Anthony
or
Connor Anthony

Brodie would be my pick. Who cares if your friends have a son with the same name, with such a big age gap it's not like they would be hanging out all the time or anything.

I've always really liked Connor, was on early lists for our kids but DH wasn't into it and it doesn't go with our surname.

I think it has a little more style than Riley and Jake.

Connor Anthony is nice I do like Anthony Connor - If your DP is that worried about the NN Con.

Brodie John

Riley John gets my vote
Jen1
Jake Anthony is my pick.
Ianthe
Connor Anthony is great.
Audrey Hepburn
I am sorry but Riley is an awful name. I can not understand why so many people use it. It is so over used and rather "boganish".

Connor is lovely though
