Hi

I am after some recommendations for wax for DIY bikini wax. I currently use Nair (in the tub) but find it gets really thick and gluggy towards the end.

Thanks

Hi,
I use the wax strips, they are easy to use and are not messy at all.
It makes waxing really quick. I think I use the Nair brand as well.

Would these work on underarms??? I have a friend who does my waxing monthly but I find the underarm hairs grow back so quickly.

I use Julienne hard wax from Priceline. Good stuff

If your hair grows back fast, it is your body's hair growth rate. I have a fast hair growth so if I wax or use an epilaptor, makes no difference.

I think it is hard wax? you don't use clothe strips. THe NAir spa one. I find it good for bikini and underarm. It does cost aroudn $20 but I manage to get lots of waxes from that so I do save and I can do it when it suits me.

ETA: My hair grows back quickly regardless

I must have horrible hair - I was coming in to say "don't do it, it's not worth it" roll2.gif

I can't remember all the things I tried but I know I haven't DIY since I left uni and there is no way I would try it again now - this way it's not too painful and I don't have to contort to do everything properly. However if you're lucky enough to have fine hair - go for it biggrin.gif

I use Nad's, not the hot wax, just the green stuff. I like to heat it so that it us easier to spread and I use the cotton strips because it's easier than hot wax to pull off.
