Hello,

Looking at double prams while in the planning for bub #2. We have the Valco Runabout Deluxe for DS which I LOVE, and intend to get the toddlerseat for.

However, I also still want the flexibility of having a pram that both can layback in and sleep, or sit up and watch the world. I HATE the limousine style- one in front of the other, so would only be looking at the side by side ones.

What is tha Valco twin pram like? I obviously want something EASY to fold down and manouvre, and something fairly light.....

Any reccommendations for any twin prams??? Thankyou original.gif

Hi,

I have the Valco twin runabout with the toddler seat attached, and it has been wonderful for us, it's easy to steer and not overly heavy. There are just so many twin prams out there to choose from, and I would suggest going and taking a few for a test drive around the store before you buy.

Cheers,

jmack
I have the Maclaren Twin Traveller which is great. It is light and folds like an umbrella stroller so is easy to get into the boot. I have used it since my babies were newborn as it lies down flat and they now sit up and watch the world go by. Would recommend it although you would have to check what weight it goes up to for your toddler.

We also have the Mountain Buggy which we got second hand. It is great for walking to shops and back and on uneven surfaces. I think they do a jogger version with a swivel front wheel whereas mine has two fixed front wheels. It lays virtually flat and is easy to adjust.Good luck with your search

I have the Mountain Buggy Urban Double - fabulous. Has swivel front wheels for tight turns in shops and you can lock the front wheels for jogging/rough ground etc (not that I've ever tried - shopping is more my style than jogging LOL). They are pricey but quite light (about 15kgs) and narrower than some twin buggies (ie they fit through most doorways including internal doors). I wasn't quite sure from your post if you're already pregnant or just planning - but it may be a big imvestment to buy a twin jogger if No 1 is older and not likely to be in the jogger for long. Maybe a jogger with a removeable toddler seat in that case?
