Full Version: traffic inner north dramatically improved in the past 2 days!

The traffic around Watson/Hackett/Dickson/Ainslie is usually very bad 8-9am as traffic from Gungahlin cuts through to get to Majura Ave / Limestone Ave (I think?)

In the past few days it has improved dramatically (yay!). I just wanted to find out what has caused this (and more importantly if it is temporary or permanent). I couldn't find any mention of it in The Canberra Times or The Riotact.

Antill St has been closed off, up near the roundabout. So traffic from Gungahlin couldn't cut through Watson/Hackett as easily and would have had to find a different way to the city.
