Hello to everyone , it has been a while since i have posted . But I do check in daily to see how everyone is etc . This week it is all quiet at my house with kids returning back to school . This means that I of course have to take them . Lucky I only live the next block up from the school & it is close . But let me tell you it is hard on my body . I am not sure how much longer I can walk to school & back twice a day !! I have to come home & rest . Apart from that I am house bound . I am only 26 weeks I can only presume that this will not get easier on my body. Is this just me ??? or is it the same for most ladies carrying 2 babies ?? Off for a growth ultrasound today & very excited . Bye for now a struggling Michelle ( mumtomany)

HI Michelle,

Was starting to wonder where you had got to! Glad to hear you are doing okay.
I can completely understand your predicament with walking up and back to school while pregnant! Term 4 of 2003 really knocked it out of me!
I also don't live far from the school, I walk up the street and cross one road and then we were at school but it really did become a challenge for me some days. I think I preferred the mornings as it was usually cooler and I was more rested.
Is there anyone that can help you out at all? Even if they could just pick up the kids after school for you to save you going both ways each day? Another mum in the class, a relative, a neighbour with kids at the same school even?
I was very lucky as DD befriended a girl up the top of the road so each morning I would pick her up on the way to school as we went right past the house anyhow and each afternoon the other little girl's mum would drop DD back to me to save me waking the twins from their naps. In the cold wet weather we just swapped over so if it was wet in the mornings the other mum drove the girls. I was very lucky...and very grateful!

Anyhow goodluck with your scan today...pop back and post here so I know how you got on! Keep your feet up and do remember to check back in with us!

Hi Michelle!

Its great to hear from you! I am 31 weeks now and I can tell you its only short walking trips for me too! I was going really well until about 28 weeks and now I get quiet breathless easily and find it too much to spend too much time on my feet.

I am glad that the school walk is not too far away for you lovie!

It seems that you need to rest more as there is two babies. The only thing I can do really well is walk in the pool - only 1 lap and I am knackered! LOL
