So i recently moved and I have always been able to get a full head of foils cut, straighten toner and sometimes treatment for 120- 135 now were i live it will cost me $200 +, now im considering whether or not to stay blonde or go back brown.... is there any way i can do my own hair.

I have attached 2 pics one of me with the shade of blonde I like and one with me home dying back to brown over faded out brassy blonde.

may you please tell me which you think suits me better and how i can get that coulour (if i go brown again i think i will go darker).

THANK YOU

Brown

Not a hairdresser so can't comment on that side of things, but I like you with brown hair. So natural and easier to maintain.
Anti-Socialite
I think brown looks better, it's also a lot easier to maintain at home!
zippeemum
Yep, brown suits you much more original.gif

I've BEEN to a salon for colour, but I've actually had very good results with boxes of Garnier at home. Just box dye. I would try that for a rich brown (I think slightly darker would be a good idea) but I don't know about blond at home.

I was always going darker, from blondish brownish middling nothin' to a rich dark auburn, I think darker is harder to mess up than lighter.

Ohh you look far lovelier with brown hair!

Stay brown!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brown, looks much better.
Cranky Old Woman

Another vote for brown!

You look gorgeous in both photos. But I prefer the blonde.

Mmm. I think blonde, but maybe that's because I'm blonde and I think blondes look better.
Becca1605
I think the darker too...it looks more natural as the blond can often show dark roots. The brown does suit you.
Monket
I love the blonde. I also adore your friends haircut...the one on the far left!

Stay brown, I have heard the home streak kits are ok these days too if you want to put in some lighter highlights.

I was always a blonde until I went through a rebel stage and decided to dye my hair black. I've lightened it a little since the black days to a rich chocolate brown and I prefer it much better. Regrowth doesn't look as bad and my hair is much healthier and shinier. I loved being blonde because I was born blonde but not at the expense of chunks of hair falling out in my hand. You are lucky to suit both colours.

I'd be choosing brown based on convenience and hair health. Don't do blonde at home, I've seen way too many disasters that have landed my friends having to chop all their hair off.

Good luck original.gif

I think both colours suit you. I've always gone lighter in summer and darker in winter - weird I know! rolleyes.gif Having said that I've never coloured my own hair. Considering we're heading into winter maybe brown. It does carry more of a shine than blonde.

Thank you so much for your votes and opinions biggrin.gif

I decided to stay blonde it was the easiest option, i did it last night with a box of home dye, it looks pretty alright just need to do the regrowth again because it was so dark its a little brassy.

I will update with a picture once ive done the regrowth again.

I think the blonde suits you better, it makes you stand out more, so good choice. You would look good in any colour hair though biggrin.gif
belinda1976
To be honest I think both suit you really well, you have a lovely skin tone.

So if you are trying to save $$$ then stick with brown.
Swahili
I think you look great with either hair colour.
KT'smummy
Thank you so much for your lovely replys!

so my hair doesnt look like either of these now, i almost had an epic fail trying to tone my roots, so used a lightener hair dye then they i almost had foul yellow hair but now its ok again but i have really light hair... Not sure if i game to post on here unsure.gif
