Hi all,
just thought I would start a new thread to see if there were any other Donor recipients who have had success and are pregnant or had their beautiful bubbies just for general chat - surely I'm not the only one original.gif

Hi Sares,

There is another buddy group designed for preconception, conception, and beyond, but we do run a bit hot and cold!!

I am happy to participate though!

I have a beautiful DD who has just turned three and a new bub due in around 6 weeks.

We had IUDI treatment both times and were very fortunate to fall pregnant first cycle both times - a real relief really as the journey of deciding to use and then finding our donor was a hard one, so it was a true blessing that part was a lot simpler.

We have a known (sperm) donor who we keep in touch with (mainly via email) and both our children have the same donor. I am now at the stage with Jemima where I want to get her a book or something and start introducing the idea to her ie that families are made in different ways, so that is the start of another stage of things for us.

There are quite a few ladies around here that have used donors - some more vocal than others, all with differnt circumstances, but there is lots of support and advice and ideas if you are looking for it!

By the way, I had spotted your sig elsewhere on the forum and was thinking what a gorgeous bub Patrick is, he is so cute! Pictures like that make me glad I am already pregnant because I would be in cluck overdrive if I wasn't!!

Hi RedsGirl,
thanks for posting! Congratulations on DD and bub to be! Fantastic results for both success first time! Pat was a first go success too and, as our donor has offered again, we are looking at TTC#2 early next year! Very excited!

Can you post a link to the other thread as I couldn't find it (if one already exists there is no point having another one original.gif)
