hi my name is tina i just found out 3wks ago that i was rxpecting identicle twin boys,i already have 3 boys aged 8,6 and 18mths,so i am going to be outnumbered, still getting over the shock.i am an identicle twin myself, its unidenticle twins that are supposed to run in families so i never expected it. i am suffering with spd and find it hard to get around some days,i am 22wks preg,i have a support belt which helps a little but have to see my physio tomorrow as the pain is worsening, just wondering what is the distance that other twin mothers have carried and how twin births are compared to a single, was wondering how far apart it can be from twin 1 to twin 2 being born. i would appreciate hearing from any other mothers or pregnant ladies out there. tina due on may 29th 2005

Hi Tina!

Firstly a huge congratulations to you and your partner! This is wonderful news although you will be very out numbered!

Sorry to hear of the spd pain and I hope that the Doctor you see will be able to provide some assistance.

I posted a question about how far the twin mums made it to with their gestation periods and they had also written the times and details of the births. Just click back a page on the forum "twin and multiples" and you will see it was started by me and was titled 'How many weeks Gestation did you make it to"

Congratulations again and welcome to EB

Look forward to getting to know you......

Hi Tina

I am also expecting ID twin boys and i am an ID twin myself. My doc was quite surprised as apparently ID twins are not supposed to run in families.. i think they might!!!

Good luck with your pregnancy, and congrats on having 3 other boys. You are going to be way out voted in your house. You might have to get a female dog!!

Good luck!

Congratulations! Sorry to hear about the pain you are suffering - I had the same problem and ended up on crutches (sorry, not what you want to hear!). The only time I had not pain was in the pool - I went to hydrotherapy run by the hospital midwives which was fantastic. I also saw a chiropractor who did some very gentle manipulation (she was pregnant too so I trusted her!) which helped a little. Good luck!
