Hi everyone

Me again, yep still searching for that perfect girls name.

After getting part way through babynames.com with DF I have noticed a pattern on the types of names he seems to like, so.... I am going to throw it out there and see what suggestions you EB name gurus can come back with for me to through at him.

So.. it seems he likes two syllable names ending in the 'a' sound.

For example, Emma, Sara, Kira, Taya etc

Traditional, top 20, uncommon it doesnt matter, hit me with them original.gif

Thanks everyone.

Have just added your suggestions of Isla Tessa Nyssa Kayla.
Have always loved Isla wub.gif (top 5 choice for DS2) but its not on this list, am thinking we must have just overlooked it this time.

K+M+A
Quite like Zara, but couldnt bring myself to use it because I have a Zac. I tend to stray from letters I've already used original.gif

osgirl
DF quite likes Maya but we are a little concerened she would have to keep correcting peoples pronouciation. Do you find this to be a problem with your DD?

mad madam mim
LOL yep alot of 3 syllables in there original.gif

Gudron
Am loving Leia!! wub.gif It is pronounced like Lay-a and not Leah? or am I wrong? Am guessing if I am second guessing my pronouciation there might be issues with this one whch will put DF off - Do really like it though.

Tess
Lila is on our list but DF is reluctant to use it because an old work collegue he still keeps in contact with occaisionally has a little girl called this.

Eirinn
Piper I quite like, but DF isnt too keen. I did try to get it on the list laughing2.gif Not sure on the Gaelic ones original.gif

Gudrun
Yep, Leia is pronounced lay-a.

skylia, yes, in Australia she gets 'May-ah' but where we live overseas everyone pronounces it correctly. What about Mia? But I guess people would pronouce that differently too.
