Hi ladies,

Just a question about your twins.

What do you do when one has gastro & the other doesn't? I'm pretty sure its viral & just playing the waiting game for the other to get it.

Do any of you actually seperate them?

I'm a little lost in my household between pine o clean, domestos & to top it all off a middle broken finger.

We adults have spent hours at hosptials w/ breaks, cuts, bruises etc over the past 4 days. almost impossible to change nappies but you do what you have to & I haven't been able to get any help this week.

Open to any suggestions at least just to relieve my own sanity.

Sorry to hear you are having such a tough week, it can be quite tricky with twins at times can't it?

As for the gastro bug I would personally not bother seperating them, though would perhaps encourage them not use each others drink cups etc. At the end of the day if the second twin is going to get gastro you will just have to let nature take its course.

I had my eldest DD get chicken pox in Sept and then it took 6-7 weeks by the time I could go out the house again as the twins both came down with it too! Not nice but like you say, we do what we have to!

Hope things get better for you soon!

We are going through a bout of tummy upset at the moment as well so I really feel for you!

The problem with most bugs is that they are usually infections before any symtoms show up... so the twin with the gastro probably shared around the bugs before you even knew they had it! It's just a matter of time to wait and see if the other one will get it... we are at that point here too!

Hope things improve soon!

We don't "actively" separate our three when they are sick but we try and stop them sharing spoons, cups etc. It's a bit hard to stop germs spreading when they play with the same toys etc.

Hope they get better soon.

Just an update on my girls.

They now both have it & they've both been to hospital vomiting blood. One's home & the other's having an overnight stay.

Def. been a rough week for all of us, & I can't say I'm sorry to see the back of another day. Hopefully all will be okay sooner rather then later.

Thanks for your support guys really needed it.
