I am 7 weeks pregnant with twins and not having very bad morning sickness, in the past two days I have had almost none at all.
I am worried as I have read that it is much worse with twins. Also whenever I stretch I get sharp pains in my belly - is this normal ? (like turning over in bed)

What was your experience when pg with twins ?

Hi Wendy

I am 10 weeks preggers with twins and basically feel like I am not even pregnant - no morning sickness, training at the gym etc. In fact I am starting to worry and am contemplating a visit to ob for an ultrasound. Mind you I had no symptoms with DS so I dont know if I am just very lucky with my pregnancies or is there more to it.

Hi Wendy

I know exactly what you mean about being worried about NOT being sick. I was exactly the same!!! There is no need to worry. I have read and been told that every pregnancy is different and every women is different when it comes to morning sickness. They say you CAN be more sick with twins due to a double dose of hormones but even some women with a singleton pregnancy can be laid up in bed, vomitting and not being able to move for weeks. Bree here on this thread, another mum-to-be of twins has had no morning sickness at all! I was shocking from about 6&1/2 weeks to about 10 wks and then is eased off and I started to panic, but that's normal apparently. They also say that it stops at 12 weeks but I am still feeling queezy until lunchtime and I am 19 weeks tomorrow. A friend of mine was sick right the way through her pregnancy and another friend of mine never gets it, just feels a little off some days. It's easy to say don't worry, it's normal, but I am sure everything is fine.

I also started to get pains when turning over in bed. I told my OB that "it feels like they are going to fall out!". It went on for about 3 weeks but has passed now. He said that it's your uterus stretching so no need to worry about that one either....

Hope this helps you Wendy. I know just how you feel and if you have any other questions, just ask!

Hi ladies!!

I am a lucky one that has been blessed with no morning sickness at all! I am almost 30 weeks (and i look it), and not a single vomit.

I saw my babies last week and they are definatly letting me know they are both in there nice and snug..

Dont stress and expect things to be twice as bad....usually its the stress that makes you feel icky. Relax and enjoy...the next scan will show all is well.

Yippppeeee- its nearly the public holiday!

Hi I wouldn't worry to much, as when I was preg with my twin girls (5) I had no morning sickness and also didn't feel pregnant. Everyone is very different tho,
good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
