Love? Hate? Any particularly negative connotations?
Thank you!

I know someone who named their son Lincoln, I thought a bit different at first, but it's really grown on me. I think it's nice.

Like Lincoln but love Linc! I just had my baby boy Sunday night and he is called Linc. We decided on just Linc because his middle name is Jonathon and I thought it sounded better with Linc.
He is my fifth and I refer to him as our missing Linc

First thing I think of is a car. This name is NMS, but I don't hate it. DH has a friend in his 40s called Lincoln and generally gets called Linc.

Its my stepsons name and I HATE it and avoid using it as often as I can

ETA: Goes by Linc most of the time so I'm not walking around calling him Harry or going "Oi you" too often.

Deeply NMS, sorry. I can't think of any palatable nicknames and the associations are not good.

Personally I don't like it because it sounds american (don't know why, maybe cos of the cars and abe lincoln) but I mean I wouldn;t name my child Lincoln, but it is an OK name if you like that sort of thing
