I'm 5 weeks pregnant with baby no. 3 and finding that I'm having pretty BLAH morning sickness. I had a really good pregnancy with the twins and hardly any M/S and certainly nothing that compares to this. How did others find their singleton pregnancies compared to their twin pregnancy. I would have thought that having only one baby and therefore less HCG, that I would feel even better than I did when expecting the twins. Anyone else out there who had worse M/S with one baby than when carrying the 2.

Cheers, Wendy

Hi Wendy,

I hope your feeling better, but I understand exactly how you feel. With my daughter Keisha (now 3) I had no M/S or nausea and I did not show until I was about 5 months on. I am now about 11 weeks pregnant have the worst nausea/ M/S I have ever felt and I look like I am about 6 months pregnant - I don't know if I am carrying one or two as yet.

The only thing that seems to help is to eat (the only time the nausea stops) normally carrots/fruit and other vegis) I hope this helps.

Cheers Vicky

Hi Wendy

I had different morning sickness with my singleton than with the twins .

The twins I was physically sick every morning and sometimes at lunch but was generally fine after I threw up . I think it lasted until about 16 weeks but eased off abit after 12 weeks.

Then with Kasey I felt nausious (sp) all day, everyday , I was physically sick as well ( the twins used to stand behind me mimicking me v.cute Tounge1.gif) but not as often as with the twins . I think this lasted until 12 weeks but can't be sure.

Congratulations on your pregnancy , good to see others lining up again after twins.
