Hello All I am new to this forum and am very glad to have found it.

My fiance and I are 4 months into TTC our 2nd baby and are starting to feel a little anxious. Last year in July I lost my first pregnancy at 23 weeks, a little boy - Darcy, who had a severe and rare chromosomal abnormality called 18q21 deletion. My finace and I have been tested for a balanced translocation and everything came up ok - Darcy's condition was a 1 in 40,000. 6 weeks later I was diagnosed with a Uterine AVM for which an embolisation was planned. I went in for an angiogram in October which revealed it had spontaneously resolved so in many ways we have been very lucky, as emobolisations can effect fertility and AVM's can result in hysterectomy.

Because of this history we are now considered high risk. We will be going back to FMU once we are pregnant. However I am concerned about our fertility after what has happened and am keen to find an ob/gyn who I can see monthly to get this pregnancy happening! At the moment I only see my GP and a naturopath. I really need someone who can look after our case and most importantly is understanding and sympathetic and will know how to handle me breaking down crying in their rooms!

I intend to ring Dr Susie Close's rooms this afternoon to try and get an appt but know I might have a wait. I was hoping the ladies here can provide some local ACT recommendations. It will alleviate a lot of my anxieties to have someone looking after our case without having to chase my paperwork around TCH!

Thanks in advance
Nut
