My girls are 7 months tomorrow, now where did those months disappear to?! The girls no longer have night time feeds and get put to bed around 6pm and get fed again at around 7am, but they still seem to be waking in the night, they are not hungry, but seem to just need a dummy or soothing, it is mainly Charlotte who wakes but she disturbes Tia, so my question is should I pt them in seperate rooms, we do have a room I can move one of them into but i just wonder if they will miss each other, I know I could just try it but I hate losing sleep and i'm already running on low!

Any past experiences?
Heather

I think if it's easy to manage (ie doesn't require taking cots apart and rearranging the whole house like it does here) then why not try it and see if it helps?

My girls are 14 months old and are in seperate cots now but still sleep less than a metre apart.... mind you we all sleep together in our room so there's not that much space! I have one great sleeper who sleeps through just about anything and one who is more easily woken by her sister but we've tried them sleeping apart (one in the hammock in the other room) and they were both very wakeful and restless almost like they new there was something out of the ordinary going on... so now we are all back together!

I'd say try it and see how it works.... whatever gets you the most sleep so you can enjoy your babies is the way to go!

Hi, thanks for your replies and advice, I have left them in their own room at the moment as I have my parents over visiting for 3 months but I think i'm going to get them into their own rooms once my parents return home, Charlotte has cut two teeth so i'm hoping thats all this is and once she has got her's we might all get some sleep before Tia's arrive! I'm sure we are all going to do better once we all have our own rooms!

Thanks again,
Heather
