Hi Ladies
I'm currently pregnant with #3 and we are trying to decide on a girls name and we both love Quinn (thanks to Glee for that one!) but I can't pick a middle name that goes with it.
Any suggestions??
My other two DDs are Charlotte and Elouise.
Thank you!!

Lovely name, I think it pairs well with a three syllable second name ending with an 'uh' sound, eg.
Quinn Alexandra
Quinn Luciana
Quinn Mikayla/Makayla
Quinn Violetta
Quinn Savannah/Susannah
Quinn Valentina/Clementina
Quinn Julietta

Great name. It really goes with your other DD's names too. I think a two syllable surname would go well with it... Ummm Elyse/Elise is coming to mind.... Quinn Elyse??

Quinn Alexandra for me. Really like it!

Love the name Quinn, didn't even think of it for our DD2.. bugger!
Quinn Elise immediately came to mind for me too!
Although with an Elouise it may be too close. No family names that might work with Quinn?
Quinn Ella... only joking, unless you are into horse racing.
Quinn Renae

I think it's a great boys name . I don't like it at all for a girl and it really doesn't go with Charlotte and Elouise one bit as a girls name.

Love the combo of those names. All are beautiful and classic. have loved it long before Glee so glad that the show is bringing it back.

Love it, great name!
How about Quinn Leigh, Quinn Madeleine or Quinn Elizabeth..actually that sounds a little to close to Queen Elizabeth.

Ah you beat me to it. I was going to say Quinn Daria.
Seriously though, I do like Quinn.

I love it! I usually don't like gender neutral names, but I think Quinn is kind of pretty and funky at the same time. Definitely prefer it for a girl over boy (although I am a massive Glee fan, so maybe that's why).

Quinn Elizabeth..actually that sounds a little to close to Queen Elizabeth.

I'd be careful of picking a middle name starting with a vowel. It seems very easy for Quinn to flow into the next name. Like Quinn Emma sounds almost like Quinnemma, but Quinn Madeleine, for example, is more clearly defined. Just my thoughts.

I LOVE Quinn for a girl (but hate it for a boy..go figure). When I first saw this post, the first name that came to mind was Quinn Marie.
FWIW, I don't think it matters that Quinn doesnt match your other kids names. Kids are individuals, not a "set".

I love it- but then I am a big fan of both Glee and Daria and have actualy heard Quinn used more often for a girl than a boy (though I like it for either)

Contrary to others I actually think it goes very nicely with your other children's names.

I kind of think it does matter. Of course they're individuals, but they also are going to pick up on the difference if they're wildly different in tone.
Zahli, Rylee, and Gertrude.
Elizabeth, Katherine, Annabelle, and Winter.
Nothing is even wrong with Gertrude or Winter, but they don't flow with the trendy or traditional English names they're paired with.
(But I'm bitter because I grew up with a wacky name and two normal-named siblings, I told my mom either my siblings should have been Rhapsody and Timberwolf or I should have been a Jennifer)
Charlotte and Elouise sound so beautiful and feminine. I would think Quinn would at least notice. And maybe wonder if they'd wanted a boy.
Charlotte, Elouise, Jessamine
Charlotte, Elouise, Abigail
Charlotte, Elouise, Susanna
Charlotte, Elouise, Penelope

I dont mind Quinn as a girls name but cant get past it being more of a surname if that makes sense!!
My DD's Surname is Quinn and I think that's why it sticks.

Yeah for me, it's a good friend's surname so its that first, then a boys name. I can't help but think of it as very masculine.
I agree with some of the PP about names that go well with Charlotte and Elouise:
Susannah
Abigail
Clementine
Matilda
Imogen
Georgina
Aurora

I liked it and if DS2 had been a girl he would have been Quinn, being the fifth member of the family makes it have an extra bit of meaning, I can't remember if we had a middle name to go with it, but just wanted to pop in and say I love it!

Definitely a boys name.
I even know a Quynn who is a boy. Have never met a girl though.
I would stick with a more feminine name to go with Charlotte & Elouise.
BUT if you were definitely going to have it:
Quinn Annabel
Quinn Emily
Quinn Samantha
Quinn Elisabeth

IMO Quinn would be better as a mn if her sisters names are Charlotte and Elouise.... but anyway here are some mn suggestions:
Quinn Isabelle
Quinn Madeleine
Quinn Genevieve
Quinn Annabelle
Quinn Sophia
Quinn Celeste
Quinn Amarah
Quinn Jessica
