Just wondering for those who ordered the Kobo from the US Borders site, did they arrive ok and are they fully compatible with everything here?

I ordered mine from Borders Australia because was scared of the same reasons you are asking. Since then I have heard that a few people on here have got the from US and there wasn't a problem. I love my kobo so much.

I got one in January from the US and absolutely no dramas. I love it - comes everywhere with me and Dh even steals it Lol

I ordered two from the US before Christmas. One arrived very fast the other was delayed and I cancelled the order as I needed it for Christmas. It was a nightmare to try and confirm the cancellation (as it kept appearing as still on order and they would charge my credit card for it if it was shipped).

Borders in the US is in Chapter 11 (roughly equivalent to what Borders Australia is - in administration). Basically they are in a lot of business trouble and going broke.

I would not order anything from Borders US now. Orders may not be honoured.

However, if you do get the product it will be 100% the same as buying it here and completely compatible.

Hi there! I ordered one from Borders US on Monday 14th and it arrived today, so 2 weeks delivery time.

I've had no troubles charging it up using my laptop. Haven't worked out how to buy ebooks and transfer them onto the unit yet...I'm a bit slow with technology! I usually get there in the end, though!
