Hi
I am very nervous as Kaylee is having her grommets put in tomorrow. Her hearing test came back as mild hearing loss in noisy enviroments. But she can hear ok in quiet enviroments when we are close to her. They said all this will be fixed tomorrow. Jordi is going to creche which will make things easier as Kaylee is not being admitted till lunch time. I know that it is only a very short operation but the thought of her having it is making me very nervous.
I hope that everyone has a great christmas and a safe and happy new year.

Hi Toni,
It's normal to be nervous, My 8 year old just had a circumsision(can't spell) and I felt as nervous as I did when he was 4 having his tonsils out and grommets.
One of my twins has to have a bowel biopsy next month and I hate to think how nervous I will be then.( I am a very emotional and hate the thought of any kid in pain)
Good luck and thinking of you tomorrow

[color=Purple]It can be a little nervewracking, but you'd be amazed at how well children cope with surgery. We were in hospital with the boys a few months ago and quite a few children were having grometts put in. They all did really well, and were out in no time.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Toni,
Best of luck for Kaylee today. Jesse had his toncils and adnoids out in July when I was 3 mth preg with twins and it was hard but they recover so quickly its astounding. This time next week it will all be a distant memory.
Take care

Thank you all very much for your thoughts and prayers. Still very nervous. But it will be worth it when we get a decent full night sleep. Will update later with how we went. Roll on 12noon.

Hi
Just to let you know that everything went ok today. Kaylee was very grumpy when she came out of the anethetic and that lasted for 1 hour. We were allowed home just after she settled. She is back to her happy self but that was after a dose of pain stop. Just have to wait to see the specialist now in a month. Thank you all for your thoughts.

Toni - I am glad to hear that it went well.
Thinking of you and hoping the pain stop brings relief to settle Kaylee through the evening.
Stay sane.......

Hi Toni,
Glad to hear all went well for her!
Tyler has been having slight hearing problems and continous appointments since before he turned 1 I am hoping it's not going to have to go that far.
