I love the bean salad mix I get at my local roast chicken shop.
I know its all bulk made somewhere.......
Does anyone know the dressing they use for it? I have tried to make it at home with a can of four bean mix, onion, capsicum, celery and some fresh parsley....but I can't get the same flavour cos I don't know what they dress it in.
Anyone know?

my mum makes a dressing for a large can of mixed beans as follows:
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp mustard
freshly ground black pepper
1 clove garlic
3-5 tablespoons olive oil
Combine and heat gently in a saucepan.
Add
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon dried basil
W
Either add to bean salad mix cold or heat gently.
hope this is what you are after! it is quite yummy.

I know what you mean, I used to love KFC bean salad, had to get therapy when they took it off the menu. My mum googled the recipe and made it for me once and it was delicious! Other than that sorry I'm not much help but I'm a fellow bean salad fan!

mexican bean saladI make that one fairly regularly. I just use whatever beans I have on hand though. Its a huge hit with DS2 and DP, they can polish off a batch of it in no time at all
