Have been looking at twin prams, and looking for something that is light, not too bulky, and not side by side. Have found a UK one called iCandy Pear but still trying to find anywhere in Sydney that stocks it so we can have a look.

I think Baby Kingdom has them. I went to the one in Campbelltown and they had the pear and apple on display. There are more around, I just don't know where the rest are. You could check their website.

Thanks for that. I called our local Baby Kingdom and they stock them, along with another one I was interested in looking at.

They had them at the baby shop at Warringah Mall but it is currently closed for reno's. It's due to open in the next week or so and am guessing (or hoping) that they may have some sales when it re-opens.

I know, we went all the way up there this morning, and they were re-opening at 12 oclock today, unfortunately we had to leave before then so it was a wasted trip - bummer

Just got back from looking at Baby Kingdom and have decided to go for a strider plus after all that. It manouvers better with the twin seats, and you can see both babies better if you have one facing you and one facing away. And the strider plus is half the price, so that was a bonus.
Have you checked out the Baby Jogger City Select? It's not as cheap as the Strider but then it's not as cheap as the Strider, if you know what I mean. Also, the Strider doesn't have the same weight limit for both seats (neither does the icandy), which doesn't make it ideal for twins.

Thanks for that. Had a look and it looks great as well. Will have to find a stockist in Sydney and go and have a look. Lucky I still have heaps of time to change my mind a million times.

The Strider also only takes one capsule at at time - it's not really built to be a twin pram like the City Select is.
The City Select is very good quality in its components etc. It would want to be for the money!! I can't tell you what it's like to use yet as my babies won't come out.

Love my City Select. Love that they are both full sized seats as well

Have to add another plug for the city select, it is wonderful, I can have both babies lying down facing me and still fit through doors. One of the big things for us in getting the select over the iCandy Pear was that we could buy it online, iCandy doesn't allow online sales.

I bought the ICandy Pear at the recent baby expo. Because I got the floor stock I got it at 40% off. But now I am having trouble with an optional extra I bought at the same time.
I really do love the pram though. At the moment I am using it as a single, but when bub 2 arrives it will get a good work out as a tandem.
