I am expecting twins I'm about 8 weeks, I plan on breastfeeding but have recently heard of these and interested in opinions. Thanks

I think it would be awesome IF bottlefeeding. I wouldn't buy one unless I was fully bottlefeeding as I think it could be tempting which could interfere with breastfeeding

Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your twins.
I agree with the PP that if you were fully FF then I'd go for it. Anything that saves you time.
I'm going to get one if I can't feed my twins but they are very $$ so I want to be sure before I buy.
Good luck.

Hi Lissy (sorry baby in lap so excuse briefness!) It basically warms water to set temp, dispenses and mixes formula in for you. Like a coffee machine lol.
Congrats on the twins!

i was just surfing around the interent trying to get some more info on mlkinaminute and was unfortunate enough to stumble accross a forum on joyousbaby or something like that that came up on the google search, i didnt read all the posts cause i was a bit short of time and bit upset really. basically a lady obviously sells milkinaminute or a simliar product and had posted some information on it on that forum and was completely and utterly crucified for it. The poor lady had suffered cancer and the removal of both breasts and so swore by the machine and must sell them herself and instead of being remotely understanding the ladys on that site were mean and vindictive and tried to make her validate why she didnt use donor BM which apparently is "avalable everywhere". That topic was closed so i couldnt comment on their comments but felt i needed to blow off steam here. Every single person has the right to choose the option to feed with formula and i can guarantee that it is not a topic that is considered lightly. everyone knows breast milk is best but making us mothers that have trouble doing so feel like second rate mothers is horrible and wrong. Especially those that have medical reasons such as that lady. i enyoy these forums because it helps to get information and support with other like mums but i find that sort of talk absolutley unnecessary, we are all entitled to our views but not at the expense of making others feel hurt and inferior. And making someone feel bad is hardly an accomplishment.
ok feeling steam released now hahah, .....dont p*ss off a very sick lady pregnant wtih twins hahaha!
by the way the machines look awsome for people that have twins, stuggle with breast feeding and those that have medical conditions.

Are you sure it wasn't joyus birth? Aka super vagina club. Wouldn't surprise me - am sure placenta lasagna is a common dish there

bahahaha steggles
agree lissy66 - some people get way too high and mightly (woman bagging other woman - what happened to "girl power" - hehehe)- a lady at my old company had breast cancer - ending in masectomy - she had an old lady stop her at the mall ask her why her baby was on the bottle and not the breast !!

My twins are bottle fed and they only have a max of 6 bottles each a day.. It's only 12 bottles to make.
I use a blender.. Work out how much formula you need for a 24 hour period... Water in the blender... Count out the scoops required... Wizz wizz all done. I then put it into a 3lt Tupperware jug and pour it into the bottles.
Then all i have to do is put in the microwave for 40 seconds and bottle done.
I can't justify the $300-$400 to buy it. Yes.. I guess it saves time..But it really only takes 10-15mins max.. Well for me anyways...and I have 5 kiddies under 6.

Personally couldn't justify the cost of one, yes they would have been handy but it was just as easy to make the milk for the day and pour out required quantity into bottles.
I used a jug and a whisk instead of a blender and a scale to measure the powder, very easy.
By the way my two were bottle feed from birth and never once had the guilt trip about breast feeding. A sane mother who is coping and not trying to feed two babies is better than breast milk in my opinion.
Good luck
