A big thank you to the post suggesting books by Wally Lamb
. I am an avid reader and always looking for new authors.Just finished "I know this much is true" and all I can say is what an amazingly talented author. Have borrowed "She's come undone" and can't wait to start reading it - hopefully it's just as fantastic or even more so

Its an amazing book isn't it? I haven't read his second one yet - I keep seeing it for $10.00 and really should pick it up...

"The Hour I First Believed" I read this not long ago and really loved it. I enjoy all his stuff.

I have had 'I know this much is true' for quite some time - I read it over four years ago (or thereabouts) and it really puts it into perspective that it is all not a bed of roses for twins. Also it highlights the fact that it is not always appropriate to lump twins together and expect one to look after the other and them to have a great relationship. I know that this sounds very very wrong but I was relieved when the twin died leaving the surviving twin to finally get on with his life.

'She's come undone' was the first Wally Lamb book I read. It is amazing. The way he writes from the perspective of the female narrator is brilliant.
I've read 'i know this much is true' and 'the hour I first believed', too. I am a massive fan. Enjoy!

Glad to hear of other Wally Lamb fans. I read all of his books, ooh, about 10 years ago & think he is an amazing author.
If you like Wally Lamb, you may also like the books by Chris Bohjalian and/or Mitch Albom. Both also excellent writers.

Exactly what I was going to say. Really, really amazed at how he completely nailed the psyche of a female struggling with her past and all that comes as a result (didn't want to say too much as I don't want to spoil anything).
Thanks! I've added them to my wish list!

She's Come Undone is a lifechanger. I don't know how anyone could NOT love it.
