Hi Ladies,

I have the MacLaren for the car and shops which has been fantastic!

Now due the excess of chocolate and coke I have been eating I need a walking pram!!!

So basically it will stay in the garage, and is just for walking so size is not a big deal. There doesn't seem to be much to choose from and I can't seem to find any walking prams with big wheels where the babies can face me????

Any suggestions?

I have a 5 year old Adventure Buggy for walking and I absolutely love it, especially as it came with sun and rain covers that completely cover the babies. It's easy to manouvre and handle (my tracks get a bit rough sometimes). The babies face away but there's a little windown in the hood so I can see them.
Blessed to the MAX
We have the double Mountain Buggy which is awesome for long walks and rough terrain. Your babies don't face you unless you have the two bassinets, which we did and we really enjoyed that until they got too big. The pram itself is fantastic and worth its weight in gold. We have now purchased an Adventure Buggy to accommodate for our new baby as well but I don't find it as easy to manoeuvre as the Mountain Buggy. If I didn't have the new baby on the way I would never be selling mine but I have no choice. If I had twins again I would buy the Mountain Buggy again.

Where are you located? I have a Valco and it's a great walking pram. I used to live in the Blue Mountains where they either don't believe in footpaths or don't realise they've been invented yet and it was a dream to push over tree roots and rocks and gravel and all the other rough terrain on the side of the road. Not using it anymore, though and willing to sell it. Am now on the Central Coast. If you happen to be in the Sydney area at all and are interested, feel free to PM me. I've got a weather cover for it too.

I love my Emmaljunga. wub.gif

I'd so recommend an Emmaljunga for walking. It's fantastic for off-roading, it steers like a dream, it's just awesome. Only problems are that it doesn't fit through a standard doorway and it's heavy and a bit awkward to get in and out of the car. But if it's just a walking pram, they're not even issues!

Thanks all.

In the end I decided to go with my existing Phil and Ted Pram with the toddler seat. Tried it out today and it was fabulous. The girls are 14/15 weeks and were okay in it with the head supports around them......!!

Decided to save my money. Although I was looking lovingly at the City Select Pram.... Instead I spurged on two Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chairs (naughty, naughty).

Ecb - Am in Brisvegas sorry!

Karla - I am soooo in love with Emma prams. I found one I loved, it was I think the City Twin $600 pounds ohmy.gif though.....It had fabulous with wheels, they could face me and it wasn't that wide..... Which one do you have.....still in lust and keeping an eye on Ebay!!

Cheers
