Hi

I've almost finished the last book - have loved this series! However, something is bugging me. In the 2nd book, Mikael told Lisbeth that he knew she was the one who 'took' Wennerstom's billions and that he would tell her how he found out. I'm very near the end of the 3rd book and I don't think that will come up - or does it? Or did I miss something along the way?

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Unfortunately this series didn't actually get completed. It was planned on being a very lengthy book series, but unfortunately Steig Larsson died before he could complete it (if memory serves me right, they even published the 3rd book after his death)

its been a while since I read them, so cant quite remember the details, but if you find yourself with a couple of unanswered questions, the above reason may be why

Thanks Bunbaked. I knew he had died but thought it was just a 3 book series. Such a shame, he was a great writer.

We the readers saw how Blomkvist saw her in disguise go into the bank. he recognised her on CCTV - at the beginning of the second book I think it was.

There's apparently a fourth book which his partner Eva has. The story goes that since they were not married, his estranged family have the rights to it and his entire estate according to Swedish law when you die without a will and she's refusing to give it up. She feels that having worked so closely with him on the books and since they were not in his life they should not be entitled to it. Apparently she has a website asking for donations to help her fund her defense and get the book published. I imagine there are a few fans out there willing to donate.

I had heard that it was supposed to be part of a 7 book series, so there is plenty missing unfortunately - I had more questions after I finished the 3rd book than when I started it! Such a shame. sad.gif
