I Looooooooooove these books. Has anyone else ever read any? They are great. Would highly recomend them to anyone who wants something to read.

Honestly, I'm normally a die hard romance fan, or the occasional 'how to' book, but these are sooooo good.

I rekkon they have it all. Crime, suspense, humour, romance.... or something like that anyway!! biggrin.gif

Anyone else got anything to say on these books?

There was a thread a few days ago, the first is being made into a movie.

As for the books, I don't usually laugh out loud, but I do with these.

I love these books and I think number 16 is out in a couple more weeks - yay!
pearlnorma
Oh wow. thanks heaps!! I'm bummed I missed that thread!!

As I said, thanks for the linc to the thread. Just spent my washing up time reading it!! biggrin.gif

I've only read up to part way through book six and there are a lot of belly laughs coming from here too!

I've heard that about book sixteen too. I obviously need to get a move on. It's slow going because I read them all out loud to hubby aswell. He doesn't read but loves the books and we have many discussions over casting!
**Xena**
I love them (as you can probably guess being that I started the other thread wink.gif)

I have read them all and cannot wait to get my hands on the next one ddance.gif

Happy reading!

According to all sources I have found "16" is due out today, but I haven't found it yet. Hopefully it won't be long.

There is also a new deisel book out later this year. original.gif

I have found some of her other books at the library, all the romance ones are so predictable, by the first few pages you know what is going to happen. wacko.gif

The Plum books are by far the best.

Caseymay
I love them too, especially because they make you laugh out loud. Not many books can do that! I am definitely going to have to go and have a look for number 16!
Chocolate Addict
SIXTEEN IS OUT!!!!

Big W have it in their toy sale catalogue for $18.xx. I was in Big W today and it is already there and already at that price, so, of course I bought it!! laugh.gif I have to wait for my mum to read it first though, as I got her addicted to them and gave her an IOU for this as her birthday pressie! hehe

Etcetera
I love them too.
I found a Christmas special one in the library a few years ago and then found out it was a series. So i kept borrowing them and was hooked. The librarian commented on it too as she was loving them.
**Xena**
I loved 16. More classic Stephanie action and just hilarious as always!
*bibs*
Love them too. Have just got 16 but have not started it yet.

mmm Ranger x biggrin.gif
Chocolate Addict
My mum and I both thought 16 was good but not as good as previous books. Still funny but not as funny. Or maybe we are just expecting too much! hehe

Now to wait for the new Deisel book. original.gif

~DragonLady~
I discovered them a couple of weks ago and I am already up to book 13. They are hilarious. I laugh out loud at them (and probably look crazy as I am usually in public)

I loooove Ranger, I am always gunning for her to end up in bed with him.
**Xena**
redgirlshell I do agree with you. I still found 16 hilarious but it wasn't my favourite. I also thought that maybe that was just due to me counting down the time until it got out that my expectations were sky high laughing2.gif
Chocolate Addict
hehe, yeah, maybe that was it. We were waiting so long that we got over excited! wink.gif

Love, Love, love, love them to bits! original.gif
I started reading them about 5 or 6 years ago when I worked in the city and was hooked I read my last one before my daughter was born 4 years ago and was still travelling on the train, so its been a while. But i just loved Stephanie and that cop, can't remember his name though. They were crazy, so action packed that I read them in about 3 days!! I named my daughter Stephanie (not after Stephanie Plum...maybe subconciously wink.gif ) but the other day I walked past the book store and saw the latest and i had my daughter with me and i told her that I loved those books and the girl in them was Stephanie and she thought she sounded really cool.....hopefully she will read the ones I've got when she is older. Oh and I loved how Janet Evanovich gave each one its title, very clever and it just made me want to read them!!
ratbag
I've enjoyed a couple out of the series. Refresh my memory - are the sequential?
Chocolate Addict
Yes they are sequential, although there are a few others that are not. lol

There is the 1-16 series that is the Stephanie Plum series then there is also the Plum Spooky, Plum Lucky etc that feature Deisel and are just as good at the Plum series.
She also does non Plum books. I have read some of the romance ones and they are terrible, so predictable like a Mills and Boon book.

71Cath
Just finished number 16. I thought the same as a few other posters, it was funny but not as funny as some of the others.
