Bec, glad to hear the kids are done with their ABs. I struggle when my two are sick, you poor thing managing 3 at once! Although, I live in hope that Miah settles better than the boys (so I can dream of Eleanor and Meggie settling nicely one day!)

Hi Donna.
Hi Kristy. When did B get his licence? I missed that one, I think. Nice work. Congratulations to him.
Sandra, congratulations on the weight loss! Well done. I have noticed that I tend to lose a bit of weight when DH is away, mostly because I never get to finish a full breakfast or lunch, lol. Still about 5 or 10 kg over, though, depending on which weight I base it on - pre-baby or pre-Hobart -

. DH is home at the moment, although he's likely to disappear over the creek (to Hobart) again with only 3 or 4 days' notice...
Marika, I hope Gracie starts to like her glasses. I was 10 when I got mine, drove my mum completely bonkers in the car on the way home, "I can see the leaves on that tree, Mum", "I can read that sign [read sign]"...Poor thing! The zoo sounds like fun.
Lia, oh dear

. I skimmed the post with a bit of a scoff at $450 (bah, I spent $1,000 per semester, easily

), but then I read it properly...

. I bet it's the lecturer's own books, hmm? Or his/her superior's? Hopefully you can access them at the uni library or locate it at work.
Mel, owww. Hope you're healing nicely. Covering myself now

Jodie, glad you found your keys. I have a damn card as a key, drives me nuts. I gave it to Meggie to hold one day while I was strapping her in and, just as I went to take it back, she piffed it. Twilight, dark grey interior, darker grey credit card type key...grr. I found it in the boot eventually. It had slipped between the seats.

Luckily, I had food in the car to distract them while I searched! It was an evening pickup from CC, so they were
starving, poor little creatures. (yeah right, like they'll starve any time soon!)
Kat, I'm so with you on the tag-teaming, only we get it in the same night. One night Eleanor will sleep through (Meggie is still coming into bed with me most nights), and then the next they'll both be waking 2 or 3 times. Of course they alternate! It's no fun any other way...I hope it eases up soon. We've got them sharing a room too. When one is unsettled, the other will usually sleep through the noise as long as it doesn't go on too long. It gives us a spare room too, which is good - considering that Meggie takes up so much room that DH usually ends up in the spare bed. That would be the couch for him if we had one room each for the girls, as they are both still in cots.
Can anyone lend me an extra day a week?

I have too much work to do and two sick kids. (get the violins already) We're hiring someone in a support role at work, so hopefully that will help to ease my workload and I can concentrate on stuff that earns the firm some money...and will let me stick with 3.5 days a week, instead of nearly 5. I have to read up on how to conduct an interview, as I've never done it (have been on the other side a few times, so hopefully that will help a little).
It looks like Meggie has bronchial asthma, not just bronchiolitis. I don't get the difference, something about the nomenclature, coz it all sounds like wheezes to me, he he! Luckily her chest seems to have cleared up quickly this time. We're off to the doctor again tomorrow (today) for a checkup. Oh my local GP clinic must love me, spending all this money with them! Bloody non-bulkbilling, (quality), (nice), (smart) doctors. Eh, I'll stop whinging in a tick...

Umm, how do I say this? Remember how I fell down the steps at home last June and fractured my sacrum? Well, I fell down the stairs at work yesterday, tripped 5 steps from the bottom and tried to catch myself for a few steps before not making it.

No broken bones this time, I think, but a nice little concussion and a big lump on one shin, along with various other scrapes and bruises. This is the third time I've fallen down stairs. You'd think there would be money in it for me - or that I would work out how to do stairs... *sigh* I do love my wheat bag and my nurofen and medicinal chocolate...
OK, it's late and I'm dribbling rubbish. Time for bed.
Night all. Take care.
