Hi All
There are so many books on the market - which ones do you recommend?

I would recommend "Birth" for pregnancy.
And "Baby Love" for after that

I've bought most of them (far too many) and I found Birth Skills by JuJu Sundin the most useful for birth, and Baby Love by Robin Barker for anything baby-related. For "parenting", our paediatrician recommended "The Science of Parenting" by Margot Sunderland and I have found it very interesting as well.

Baby Love by Robin Barker - it has been soooo helpful and easy to read

Bay Love for the technicalities, Kaz Cooke's " Up the Duff" and its sequels for an informed but humorous take on it all....

Birth Skills by JuJu Sundin is really interesting.
Tracy Hogg - The Baby Whisperer. The best baby sleeping issues book in the universe hehe. (well, I love it anyway).

Gentle Birth Gentle Mothering by Sarah Buckley. And I have read a lot of birth books. I am not finding "Birth Skills" to be all that great TBH.

Baby Love was brilliant, and I liked Up the Duff as well.
The best advice I got from my GP when I found out I was expecting was not to read any pregnancy books as they'll only make you paranoid. The only reason I even ended up with Up the Duff was because my bestie found a copy in Vinnies for $3 and bought it for me.
