I was just wondering if anyone has used "pram Warehouse" to purchase anything from???..
I was thinking of buying my pram/capsule set up from them, but I have never purchased from them before and since it's well over the $1000 mark, I thought id ask just in case anyone had bad experience from them before...

I usually shop through baby zone direct, but the shipping has just gone up and it's $180 dearer than pram warehouse..

So if anyone has any good, bad experience's id love to hear them before I had my money over original.gif

I think it was pram warehouse I got my pram from over a year ago. Wasn't over the $1000 mark, a few hundred under. I would recommend them, got my pram within about 10 days I think it was!

Had another friend buy from them too and they we really happy as well original.gif

I didn't have a positive online experience with them...I had to chase them to get my item.

I was happy enough with the price when I could leave the store with the item but I wouldn't use their internet service again...and I told them the same.

We had a terrible experience, we bought all our nursery furniture from them - Boori - cot, drawers, change table, book case and toy box. The cot and toy box were the only items that came were NOT damaged on delivery. The drawers and box case were smashed, ended up having to get these replaced and delivered directly to our house from Boori. The change table was the old style, we had ordered the new one where the middle draw slides out, I didn't notice this immediately and when I did my husband called the store and their response was "oh well, the old one is cheaper than the new one, we are not replacing it." I was so disappointed with the experience, this is our first baby and I wanted everything to be perfect for him, I had our furniture delivered when I was approx 32 weeks pregnant and Boori often have a 3 month waiting time. Needless to say I was very anxious and worried, I finally got all my pieces in one piece delivered when I was 37 weeks.

If you can go to the store and buy I would do that - but def would not use the delivery option.

Thank you everyone for your responses, I'm glad I asked before I handed over the money...

'Quixote' - they really match the cheaper price??, because I can find what I want at pram warehouse for example for $273 cheaper than the 'betterbabydeals" site....

I will ring/email and see what they can do, than you for sending me the link...

I have bought from Pram Warehouse, I ordered a cot online, but I picked it up in store. In the end I was actually really happy with what I got, and as compensation for the stuff around I actually got a more expensive cot than the one I ordered but without paying extra, and they were very nice and apologetic about it.

The story goes...

I actually went in store first and they didn't have the cot I wanted in stock and they said they could order for me there, I decided I would look around a bit first and then order it from them online later if I couldn't find it anywhere else.
I ended up placing the order online with the, and first they called to say they didn't have the colour I wanted in stock, and did I want another colour (or it would take 12 weeks). I said OK to the other colour and they said come in and pick it up on Saturday (this was Monday I think).
Then they called again the next day and said Guess what, the cot came in early AND it's in the original colour you ordered! Yay, OK I'll be in on Saturday to pick it up.
Call again later that day. Oh, actually sorry - no it's not in the original colour you ordered, and it's not in your 2nd choice of colour either. It's in another colour. I said OK, I'll still take it (it was all just different shades of wood and I hadn't bought anything else yet so I didn't really mind). Be in on Saturday still.
Call me AGAIN the next day - Ah, actually, we misread the sheet and it hasn't arrived at all. It's on backorder. No matter which colour you pick, it's going to take 12 weeks minimum

As I said though they offered to give me a different cot altogether in the end I got a nicer cot for the cheaper price and it was in the same colour I originally ordered. They really were very nice about it.

I bought a carseat from there, great service, fast delivery. Only problem a few weeks later got a phone call from the bank saying our credit card details were compromised due to the purchase. We ended up having to cancel our c card.
