Goodluck with the move cassi8! Yes it's amazing how many things you find stuffed into cupboards that you didn't even know were there!! Nothing like a forced cull when moving!!

Hi Tanya! My third - Kayla was born on sept 1st too! I can't believe she's going to be 2 in a couple of weeks!

What clever babies we have choosing such a special day to be born! Its very hard to believe that 2yo is just a couple of weeks away. I still think of Bria as my little baby and then I see her and she's so big and grown up.

Bria also tries to drop sleeps here and there but by 5ish on those days shes a grumpy tired girl who needs early bed and for the following days she has big naps to make up for it. LOL.

Elliesmum - yes, thankfully he is better now and I have enjoyed to child free days with him at CC so I can get things done!

What is everyone doing for their birthdays? ours will be low key unfortunately, I've been too busy and we've all been sick so last thing on our minds. Got most of the pressies sorted though!

we'll have a cake with friends either Wednesday after school, or maybe on Saturday morning But I'll make a special cake for Wednesday for my girl. She's on the 1st Sept

It has been icy here and I have been really sick. I am still on antibiotics like horse tablets, but finally feeling almost well. Bring on Summer!!

And Jasper - two today! He is in a funny phase. Loads of talking, but a lot of it involves saying NO. He is very fashion conscious, and only wants to wear pink...or else clothes with animals on, such as 'GEEN FOG' or monkeys.

We have all been sick, so no big party for J this year, but we are going to dinner tonight, and will have the rellies over on the weekend.

Sorry to hear you're sick too Seepi hope you're feeling completely better soon, I felt bad for K as I've been sick 2 weeks now so any hope of something partyish just wasn't going to happen. Oh well next year We had a lovely afternoon and she's still enjoying all her pressies, but I do hope that dh will move the trampoline out of our tiny loungeroom today LOL.

She loved her farm animals cake that I decorated in about 15mins hehe.

Love the stage where they want to wear what THEY want to wear. I have to try and avoid battles at dressing time too.

we're also having a battle with shower and baths now, she flatly refuses and melts down everytime. she did used to love both and come running when she heard someone else trying to have one. I tricked her into one this morning by changing her nappy hehe, then as I'd deliberately left her pj shirt on when she got up I took that off too. Melt down ensued as usual but without the workup to it she was much better and actually relaxed towards the end of the shower and started playing as she used to!

My name is Karen. I was part of the group expecting babies in September 2008 but lost contact afterwoods. Then we had no computer for ages. Now I'm working again I thought I would jump on and make contact.

I have a 2 year old named Ava and a 5 year old named Kaleb. Hope you don't mind me joining your group. This was the most recent thread I could find. I hope you guys are still there.

I have 3 boys: 8,5 and 2 years old.
I had a quick squiz in here earlier but it seems no one has been in here for a while . Not sure what happened to everyone.

It is very quiet in here isn't it. lol. I wonder where everyone has got to.

3 boys wow. I had three younger brothers growing up, what a handful.

I like having one of each. Kaleb (5) is extremly protective of his sister Ava (2). I wouldn't mind another boy though. I found boy toddlers easier. lol. Ava is very independant and drives me crazy.

In general my boys are all pretty good. They can be a handful at times but we recently went camping with friends with 3 girls who were way more than a handful!! So I guess it doesn't matter what the sex, they all have their moments!!
My older 2 play beautifully together and are all quite protective of each other. My 2 year old is driving me insane at the moment....I will be so glad when this phase is over.

Now that I am over the 1st tri hump I am feeling great. The last 6 weeks hasn't been so great but I know there are so many women that go through worse so I am not going to complain!
