I had the best day today, enjoying the perks of being single

My naughty cop uniform came today, only took 1 day to get here, so I'm all set for saturday. I tried it on and it fits which is a bonus LOL But I took it off quickly because I didn't want the girls to see me as they would tell everyone mummy was dressed as a police officer and how do I explain that to the teachers and school mums PMSL

I'll be sure to put some photos on facebook of me in it I think those handcuffs will be getting some good use though

WOW - it wouldn't occur to me to take Bram to the movies. I've only taken his sister twice! LOL. Then there's a four year old in between them. LOL.

It's not an issue from previous place it went to. We had all the fuel done. What went is a gasket in the front of my engine so the oil pours out the moment it is started. It has blown out and is not fixable without half the friggen front of the engine coming out. If it was them, they would have had it immediately back, trust me.
For those that saw my status's on thurs regarding RAA and tow trucks, what a nightmare. But in the end it has been towed to our mechanic and will be fixed in a few weeks when he fits it in, he is currently totally booked out. Better to sit there than here, then he said if he has some free time or a cancellation, etc he can get started on it. Big grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Jodie, Hope you can get your computer fixed asap. Ryan ended up playing in the aisle the last time I took him, just sat on the stairs with his cars, looking at the movie from time to time,lol. That was that How to train a dragon movie. Yay on more words coming out. I hope Dane soon likes his day sleeps, that would suck. Hope he is better soon.

Sandra, Hope your all well soon and Dh doesn't catch it. I would like to join them, do you know the costs involved? Hope the ENT appt goes well.

Ryan has a bad case of gastro, he has been vomiting since 8am. I woke at 9.30am and could hear him chucking. He had started at 8am in our bed apparently, Dh had gotten up to him, I hadn't heard as I crashed it on the lounge last night. He had a few hrs late this avo where he perked up and played a little, made some noise and had some smiles, he kept down some toast and some weak cordial, but tonight it all came back up. He is finally asleep behind me on the lounge now. Other end been going all avo too, but not too bad. Brett also has it, he slept at his gf's last night and had umpiring today. I saw his status's that he wasn't feeling good at all. He came home this avo and was only sick this morning, but feels like crap. He is already in bed. So not as bad a case, no idea where it came from.

Jodie, poor Dane having his first cold. Movies with Kaiden, wow, sounds heaps of fun. No movies for us yet, although DH sat the girls down for Chicken Run on DVD today - all 80 minutes! Of course, he was the only one who watched the whole thing... he he. They do sit through their almost daily screenings of The Gruffalo without moving, however.

Lia and Kathryn, oh muddy boys! Sounds like they had lots of fun. Nothing better than stripping them off and dumping them in a hot bath...yes, I have a little girl who likes nothing better than to kneel in puddles. *sigh*

Yay! Yay! I bought some beautiful pinnys from Anna (tomsmum) through her online store, they arrived on Friday!! I'm so thrilled with them. They are just gorgeous. I put the girls in their dresses and took them up to the shops today to show them off. We got a lot of smiles. Eleanor wore a purple cord pinny and Meggie wore a denim one with lovely floral frilly accents. Anna, if you're reading, thank you for the "extras"! I'm going to wear them myself until the girls have enough hair.

What else is happening here? Oh yes, our car is giving us trouble too, Kristy. Trying a new battery tomorrow morning, early, before work. Hope it works, or else I have to swap the car seats over to DH's car and arrange a tow. Yuck.

WW I have a discount code valid till today. I'm doing the online ww and it was $90 something and with the discount it was $76 so I decided to do it. I weighed myself yesterday and in my first wk I had lost 1.4. So hope it stays that way. I'm really enjoying it and I'm not even tempted by other sweet food yet(sweet foods are my downfall)

Jo - I was a good responsible girl actually, obviously I dressed naughty but acted nice lmao. I was driving though so didn't drink so that could explain it haha I met up with a friend and then we drove in together. Was a fun night. Speaking of experiences with cops though. Back in my early 20's my sister and I got chatting to some guys at a nightclub, turns out they were off duty police officers, so we asked them to show us their badges and they did, so then we went around asking people for ID pretending to be undercover police officers PMSL. Actually they could have got in to a lot of trouble lettiung us do that and we could have got in a lot of trouble falsely portraying ourselves as law enforcement... but the looks on people's faces and the way they acted towards us when we showed those badges, would be easy to let the power go to your head!

Today is going to be a cleaning day for me... boring! But it needs to be done.

Wil was up at 3am for some strange reason and then when he went back to sleep, I ended up waking up late so the girls were late to school. Ahh well only an hour LOL

Hi Everyone! Been a few months since I've been in here.

Lots has been going on.

Alex started Daycare after easter, he goes on wednesdays while I work and mum still has him on a tuesday but her work wants her to work now and I can't get him on a tuesday so will be giving up work that day. I have taken up an extra occasional day on fridays from this week so I can finally go shopping for Alex's bedroom furniture and Bed! Hopefully it works out well and I don't feel weird without him so I can take the day permanently.

We did a 1700KM trip from Perth to Port hedland with my sister, her 2 yr old, alex and 10 mth old baby. And it was so much fun (for all those that thought we were crazy!) My sisters husband got a job up there so they have moved I miss them so much! I'm sure Alex and I will adjust but we were really close. It feels weird shopping on your own

We have been painting and sorting out the house. We have such a big house and garden but we have so much clutter that we don't use it to our advantage. Gumtree and ebay are my current friends for getting rid of stuff. We brought a new lounge suite, first time in my life that I have ever got a new one.

Trying to remember what has been said this thread:

Toilet training: Not starting this till closer to 3. Too cold and lazy to be dealing with wet clothes at this time of year. He was starting to show signs of wanting to go to the toilet but it's a game at this stage. I tried him in some buzz and woody pants that he choose but he freaked out so put a nappy back on. Nappy's don't bother me I know he will TT in his own time.

Speech: Alex does not say 200 words but does put 3 words together now i.e wheres daddy gone? The newest thing is "MUmmy Mummy Mummy" "what alex" "hi" still lots of toddler language I'm sure in his head it's great. He refuses to have a book read to him except by anyone other than mummy (daddy can't read to him because of his eyesight) He will read a book on his own though and likes the books in playschool. I'm not too worried at this stage of his development as he does communicate with words. I've also started playing books on CD in the car if we are in the car longer than 20 minute ride.

Jodie: Can't wait to take Alex to the movies for the first time. Was waiting for Toy story 3 but if anything comes sooner I will try him with it. I don't have a greater union anywhere need here ir I'd try the mickey mouse movie. Your photos make me clucky everytime I see Dane, he is sooooooo cute!

I have a Tipu Tiger for Alex very cute I was wondering where the guffalo character came from and now I know. BTW the trunki's are the best invention if you are travelling anywhere soon. I used it trhough the airport to the car when I flew back from Port Hedland, alex is now using it around the house. (it's a child's ride on suitcase) Lost confused me - What are they all dead???

Grace got her glasses today, they are so thick they're 5's so the strongest you can get I think...? I feel horrid that she's needed something so strong for so long. Of course she hasn't known any different so has adapted to her lack of sight. But still...

I guess I've been feeling down in the dumps a lot over the last week. I have so much to do, so much waiting to be done, and so much I'd like to do if I didn't have to spend all my time on this other stuff.
Plus the house work is sliding and even though I hate a dirty house I just can't seem to get the drive to clean it.
I can't be bothered. I just wanna sleep, eat and sleep again.

I wish this mood would lift, I'm sick of feeling this way

I'm a couple of days away form finishing the comic sample (thank god cause I can't stand to look at it any more ) and it looks like I'm getting the commision to do the real thing. I'm curious to find out how much I'll be getting paid.

Cohen was sick again twice in our bed within the last 2 days and over ryder So last night Cohen and I were up at 1.30 watching Treasure Planet till 3am
Yesterday he had his hearing test and he passed. She recommended we get speech therapy
and just use simple words for him for a while. Told us to come back in 6 months.

Marika - Hope Grace is going well with her glasses. She lookes gorgeous in them.
I get into moods like that too. Today i actually gave the house a really good clean and I managed that on little sleep. I think the more sleep I have I can't be bothered to do anything,but when I have a few hours I have the energy to do things. Crazy. Hope it passes soon for you.

Sonia- Those trunks are so cute. How is Alex liking Daycare? I'm going to be putting Cohen in one day next year. I think he will have heaps of fun, well I hope so.

afu took Dane to the peas yesterday finally have confirmed he has silent relux. So far that last few days we have been keeping him elevated and he is in his own room now with mattress on an angle, have been giving him mylanta (on recommendation for chn which pead said we are doing the right thing) and OMG how he has changed no more of that painful constant screaming yay we were getting sooo stressed with his sleeping, so now he has settled a bit I am now working on his sleeping, thought I would go a step further and get rid of the wrap too. Has his first night without wrap and was great only woke at 3am for feed then woke at 6.30, happy with that.

Kaiden is doing ok, he was being a very good boy but the last few days he has been very cheeky and pushing boundaries grrv guess you can't win em all lol

Now Archie has a lurgy! I picked him up from Daycare yesterday and they said he had a dreadful cough......he was fine when I dropped him off! He coughed all night and we had to get the vaporizer out. He is still coughing now, though his chest feels clear. Just debating whether to head to the doctors given that its the weekend coming up. I'm sure he's OK.... all our scheduled activities are off!

Jodie - glad you got a diagnosis and thats fantastic that he's responding to the treatment! You must be so relieved!

I've been feeling sh*te the last few days, real tired and horrible But today I feel ok thankfully.

DS got his daycare photos done today, he wanted to wear his hat in them, so I let him, he's obsessed with hats Pretty good cover up as he hasn't has a haircut in a while anyway LOL

Kat - good to hear from you, been wondering how you and those gorgeous boys have been lately.

Sandra - glad the hearing test went well. I've taken things back to basics with Wil. Just repeating single words. He says bum bum now when he sees me on the toilet PMSL Classic. I didn't teach him that though I think the girls did.

He says gilk instead of milk.... but he's getting there, the last few weeks he's started saying heaps more things.

Jodie - it's good you know what's wrong now and things are getting better with Dane.

Lia - it's that time of year, sucks. Wil got gastro from daycare the other week, now he has a runny nose. He's been missing lots of daycare lately.
