I don't care if those tickets are $1500, i'm getting them!!!!

~*~Olli~*~
WDYT would be the best way to get tickets?

Pay $21 US to be part of the fan club and have access from 10th May?

Pay $20 per ticket premium to get through VISA presale from 12th May?

Wait till ticketek release on 17th May?

~A2~
I am there too whatever the cost

Not sure which way to go ticketwise either, have been a member of the fanclub but aren't at the moment.

Have to check out accommodation too. I will be going to the Melbourne Show which concert is everyone else going to?

Im in Melbourne and will be going to his show. i have to wait til the 17th may to get tickets, but thats okay. I wonder who will support?? Its a pity Adam Brand will still be in Nashville then.....that would have been a perfect combination!
~*~Olli~*~
Adam Harvey would be a great support, he did Brooks N Dunn once and it was the first time I heard him, and I loved him from then!!!
~A2~
I have been checking out flights and accommodation now just waiting to see how much tickets are so I can budget.

Do you know how the rows work - like how many rows back would we be?

I'm insane! Got tickets to the Brisbane concert through the Visa presale S30. With fees it came to $133.48 per ticket which I thought was really good.
But here is the clincher, I'm due to give birth on the 13th September, 4 days before the concert!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been waiting for soooo long for Tim to come to Australia and I can't miss out now.

Going to the Sydney show tomorrow, won VIP tix, he's giving an acoustic performance before the main show for 125-150 guests, catering is included, plus chance to win signed memorabilia.

Soooo excited now as have seen so many people rave about his Brisbane show, funny though because I am mainly a Faith Hill fan and don't know that many of Tim McGraw's songs, but am sure that'll all change tomorrow ddance.gif

How amazing was it last night!! I saw him back in 2001 and thought he was great then, but last night was just incredible. I nearly cried when Faith Hill sang "I Need You" with him.. awww!!! Just amazing!! I am a little hoarse today due to screaming along with him! laughing2.gif It was worth getting home at 1.30am after driving along the F3 with the other zillions of people.

Damita - Lucky you!!! How was the acoustic performance?! Were you sitting down near the catwalk?

I agree, it was FANTASTIC!! Now I know what everyone's on about when they swoon over Tim McGraw original.gif He was amazing, such a great entertainer, I was hoping he'd bring out Faith as a surprise since it was her birthday and when he started to sing 'I need you' and suddenly her voice appeared...unreal!! Lifelong dream come true, always wanted to see her live and never got the chance. And damn, that man is pure sex on legs, wow.

~*Rach*~ - the performance before the show was mindblowing, it was so strange seeing him up close and all, great experience. We were all ushered into a room around 6.15pm, they had fingerfood and a buffet, then his band came out about 6.40pm, they were lovely, did a bit of smalltalk and played two songs while we were waiting for Tim, and then suddenly he appeared!! Hot hot hot, gorgeous man (I know I'm repeating myself original.gif , he interacted with the audience, was happy to answer lots of questions, I was surprised by how down to earth he was. Played two songs and stayed for a total of 15 minutes approx. There were max. 100 people in the room so it was very intimate and he said we could take as many pics and videos as we like, so surreal seeing him upclose like in a pub and then on stage in front of 1000's....

Sadly did not get tix near the stage, but that was ok since I'd seen him close up before, what can I say he seems to be a genuinely lovely and down to earth person, and certainly has that x-factor!!
~A2~
The concert was awesome. I will definitely go to see him again if he comes back. Apparently he has said he would like to tour again with Faith. Bring it on I say original.gif

eexcite.gif eexcite.gif Just bought my tix and camping pass to CMC Rocks the Hunter. So excited. I don't even care who else is playing, but I think it's going to be huge. Saw Tim in Melbourne, he was amazing.

Would love to organise an EB meet-up if anyone else is going original.gif

I am thinking of going but depends on expense of it and I am not sure I would want to see anyone but Tim and Faith.

Would you have to camp? Could you just go in for their concert I wonder?

Can you tell I have never been to this sort of thing before original.gif

Ali

Blow the expense, I say! I consider it an investment tongue.gif

I got early bird tickets (CMC data base members) which were $219 for the weekend plus $150 for a 2 person campsite. General public tix (adult) on sale Monday are:

Weekend 3 day $249
Fri + Sat 2 day $159
Sunday 1 day $159

I don't know which day they'll be playing, though. Ok, just read they are closing the festival on Sunday night! You definitely DON'T have to camp, and only 3 day ticket holders are allowed to, anyway. They are also doing 'Time to Pay' plans, where you pay your tickets off over 5 months.

CMC Rocks the Hunter

Do it, Ali! dev (6).gif

it looks like the pre-sale is only for the weekend pass.. I will need to get onto it first thing Monday morning.
I have just told my husband this will be my anniversary present which is the week before.

Can't wait !!!!!

Just popping back in with the first official line-up announcement

    Dierks Bentley
    Lee Kernaghan
    Eli Young Band
Tex Perkins & The Dark Horses
    Craig Campbell
    Jim Lauderdale
    Colt Ford
    Shane Nicholson

Plus there's something like another 20 or so acts to be announced. There are some rumours of Taylor Swift making an appearance- she is performing in Aus in the 2 weeks leading up to it, but is in NZ on the Fri night, so we'll have to wait and see!

So who is on everyone's wish-list? original.gif
