Mandy I wouldn't test if I thought I was pg...'if I ignore it it will go away' lol. I'd probably wait until I was showing and then go 'ooohhh sh*t'. Go Greta with her weetbix...I'd always been told not to give babies weetbix but I think that's quite a few of you in this group now whose bubs love them, might have to give E a go with one. Can't wait to see a pic of the birdhouse in G's room! Ohh so jealous with the handmade cardi's

. I had E in one the other day and someone in the lift at the shop commented how old fashioned it was to see a baby in handmade knitwear...I still don't know if she was saying it in a good or bad way lol...I looovvveee knitted clothes on babies & kids and I'm dressing him in it now before he's old enough to tell me how uncool it is

.
Iammum your DP's family suck. Constant problems with them and the main theme is that they're complete interfering know-it-alls. What reason would your MIL have to come in here and spy on what you're writing?? Biggest joke ever. It's like they want to cut off all your social outlets - they've had a go on FB too and made you close down your account at one point. I don't know how you live with it, you're handling it a lot better than I would

. At least you know it's them and not you...you've done nothing wrong, they are just not normal. As for the pressies, mum's side of the family had 13 grandkids - 3 families bought for each other while the other 2 decided early on not to (they were the last lot to have kids

) they had a rule that once you were over a certain age (think it was 14/15 from memory) you didn't get any bday presents anymore, and then over 18 for Christmas...and they were never super expensive presents, maybe $10 or $20 in a card, one aunty used to buy us a scratchie as funds were very tight...was just nice to get a present even if it was small, we still always got a card though and our parents always told us that once we reached x age we wouldn't, so it was never like 'oh we didn't get anything this year' iykwim. I like the cheap pressies idea...you could get away with that while the kids were still young enough and then once they're old enough to realise how cheap you're being maybe go to secret santa instead?
Chantal yep I'm extremely pedantic about the pill, but honestly, with my luck I could very well be the 1% who fall pregnant on the pill

. I got pregnant first go last time so I know the fertile gene is there. Too scary to think about, I can't believe I wanted 4 before I had E

. E's teething wreaks havoc on his sleep too and I can always tell because he wakes screaming straight away and it's a real painful cry. He'll also whimper in his sleep sometimes too, poor bugger. That is so fantastic you're giving up work! I bet you're over the moon!
Jess grr I think MILs can just be so excited and want to see/play with bub that they just don't stop and think it through. I've told MIL a number of times that E is winding down for a sleep, etc. so the first thing she does is sit him on her knee and sing songs and clap hands and then wonders why he goes into a total meltdown. Well done on the cleaning, not a nice job hehe.
Marina a week before Xmas? I would have gone flipping bonkers at them! Who leaves their shopping that late anyway, I would have already bought the pressies.
Lisa Bella looked so gorgeous as Dora, I hope she had a great party.
Kristy hope you and Owen had a lovely lunch. Lol I had to smile at your 'doubts' I was thinking the same thing this morning...over the past 2 days I've seen E for a total of about 10mins because I've been so sick, the poor boy has been shuffled to daycare, then IL's picked him up, then DH got home and took over, then back to IL's today...he's not going to have a clue what's going on, but he's still happy!
AFM crisis over, AF arrived...never been more glad in my whole life. Very light though, not that I'm complaining, it's been quite heavy since I had E, so it's more 'back to normal' now. I'm feeling 110% better today, haven't thrown up since last night and so far have managed to keep down some dry crackers, a bottle of lucozade and some chicken soup (how cliche!). My body is just so so sore though, my ribs and sides are aching from all the retching yesterday

. FIL came round and picked up E this morning and has taken him to their place for the day

so thankful. I think I'm dehydrated today from yesterday because I've had the shakes and I'm really dizzy and lightheaded...not good when carrying a baby around, so I'm glad FIL was able to take him.
