Besides kids shows I don't think I have seen a live music act since Xavier Rudd in Wollongong in 2006 when I was pregnant with DS1. That's really bad!

The last live music I would have wanted to see was Jeff Martin a few weeks ago. I wouldn't mind seeing Henry Rollins next week either but I probably won't.

We tend to do Musicals rather than gigs these days...last one was Priscilla, or was it Phantom? It has been a year or so, maybe two...

We probably go to two concerts a year on average.

Being from Canberra, it's hard to get to anything decent, coz of the travel issue, but the Lips were so worth it.

Garbage in Canberra in 2005 (can't believe it was nearly 5 years ago ohmy.gif) the night before they announced they were taking an extended hiatus as a band. The venue was tiny and it was brilliant, Shirley is so much awesome and I (still) want to run away with her.

Spandau Ballet and Tears for Fears last week. They were in brilliant form, even after 25 years!

I also saw Simple Minds after the Grand Prix a few weeks ago and was blown away. I don't usually stand in the rain for 2 hours for anyone, but they were well worth it.
