Mandy I agree with the others. It's the moving that has thrown Miles out. we moved when Blake was 2.5. It was very quick, we found out on the monday we needed to move, got approved for a rental the next day (tues) and were up here (about 1-1.5hrs away) by Saturday. Blake was crying saying " put the pictures back on the wall mummy" it was heart wrenching. We stayed in that rental for 5m before we bought up here, when we moved into this house he was better, but we weren't uprooting him from playgroups and swimming etc again either. we also had more time to prepare him, because we had such a long settlement. We could also use things like letting him choose a colour to paint HIS new room etc.

Perhaps start getting him excited about the new house, with the pool and backyrad etc, ask him for his input too. wink.gif

Hope he settles for you soon.

carly oh no. hope grace settled down for you last night and didnt wake too many times.

mandy sorry you are having a sucky time. just think weekend tomorrow and you will have your DH to help deal with your grumpy boy.

littlemissp sounds like you are giving your DD a pretty good variety of foods. emily has only just started eating properly, and is currently only on 2 meals per day and at the moment i am feeding her store bought food, cos she doesnt seem to like my cooking sad.gif i know my DD went through a stage of night waking/constant unsettledness 1. when she was getting her teeth (i didnt know it was teeth for 2.5 weeks) and 2. either getting AF back or being on AB affected my milk. when she was getting her teeth we actually gave her hylands teething relief (dissolvable tablets) right before bed, and that helped her sleep through again. they are a homeopathic remedy, so you dont need to worry that you are "drugging up" your child to help her sleep. i think it just calms them down.

leish ahhh. that duromine is a recipe for disaster. but hey, i guess it works. how long before your photo shoot? will you have to excercise like mad to drop 5kg in time for it? hope it doesnt mess with you too bad this time.

sydney catch up dont know if anyone is available at such short notice, but maybe we can organise something early next week so mandy can have some adult company? i think monday seems to be a good day for most people, but doesnt make any difference to me.

afm i am a bit annoyed at the moment. i ordered some nappies 2 months ago and after lots of stuffing around (and not notifying me of delays) i finally got them today BUT there is a nappy missing. i am so over this, and i know i must seem like the customer from hell, but i want what i paid for. waiting to hear back about my missing nappy...

not doing anything interesting today, i should be cleaning but i am considering just watching downloaded movies on the computer. can clean tomorrow, or some other day LOL.

afternoon
sorry no time from proper persies - Alex is only catnapping today and both boys are still recovering from colds so really not getting anything done atm. plus still feeling exhausted from being up for 2 hours at 3 am this morning with Alex. Took me till about an hour ago to figure out why he's such a grump despite having panadol during the night - he has cut one tooth and the second is just about there too! oomg.gif Doh. ddoh.gif i'm such a bad mummy - i didn't even think of giving him gel. Dh's response to the news was - so you gonna give up Bfing now? nope, not likely unless he starts biting hard...

littlemissp - welcome to the group original.gif

mandy - hope Miles improves for you. i agree with others - he's acting up cos of the change. hoepfully when'you settle into new place he'll go back to normal happy self. In the meantime (((hugs)))

Iammum
Jess - Photo shoot is 3 - 5 weeks time so plenty of time to lose 5kg specially with the help of the duromine and this time im watching what i eat and exersising, not like crazy just at least 30mins every second day. So should be an ok goal to get to.
MnM
Ahhh retail therapy dev (6).gif silly DH renting a place 5 minutes stroll from a Westfields dev (6).gif

Thanks for all the advise re Miles, trouble is with him - and to quote his swim instructor, "he is the most determined bugger i have ever met" So i know he is a little unsure and scared about the new house (even though we have only moved 10 mins up the road so we still have the same local shops/parks/etc etc) it's just that the kid ls like a dog with a bone... if Miles wants something - like his old house back he will fight to the death to get it and can carry a tantrum on for hours - hell months! probably years its just that he has only been alive 2 yrs so we havent been able to test that theory out yet - he is really unbelievable aannoyed.gif
I swear in 20 yrs time you will all be sitting around watching the news and the headline will be that the new dictator Miles Evan Mxxxx has today announced that world work III has broken out in his bid to rule the world - and i am only half jesting you here. i mean, he is such a loving, sweet child, so so cuddly and loving but man ca he fight a battle to its death when he wants something - i mean not things like toys, he has no problem if you say no to him about a toy he wants in a shop he just goes "can i have this mummy" I say no and he goes "ok" and thats it.. but its big things he cares about, like Mummy you will not drive today, daddy will drive or you will not have this bedroom Greta will have it - its not even things that he wants for himself its just that he needs to be in control - DH calls him our little lion cub, but he forgets that he is the cub and mummy and daddy are king of the jungle not him. Honestly mark my words, in 20 years switch your TV's on and i guarantee you Miles will be the next bloody Adolf or some such dictator tongue.gif
But having said that he is the most amazingly cuddly and funny kid and i could eat him sometimes, every one seems to adore him who meets him - hmmmm perhaps part of his charm, didn't they say Adolf had a way of talking that drew people in and branwashed them blink.gif

Ive found a little park just across the street so we can go hang out there tomorrow, bought miles a little ride on car thingy cos his little tykes ride on has been packed and man is he p*ssed blink.gif so

Jess: thankyou so much, i would LOVE a get together next week blush.gif you're so sweet to think of me.

Oh on another note, i called the health clinic this morning cos although Greta has never been into her milk she is down to about 3/4 of a bottle a day oomg.gif so health nurse said she is and prbably has always been intolerent of it - oh now you tell me glare.gif so now she has started on solids she's like oh great i dont have to eat that crap anymore laughing2.gif She goes to bed at 6.30pm at night and wakes around 7am and you'd think after over 12 hours she'd be gagging for a feed but nope wont touch it.. so i wait an hour then offer her food and she gulps it down like she is famished.. then i wait 4 hours and offer her more milk and again total refusal but gulps down her solids lunch.. So the health nurse said to just make sure she has lots of cheese and yoghurts and if i can to put some formula into her solids feeds so she is at least having some but not to worry too much - she did say that i whould introduce meat as thats a good source of protein too so i'll do that over the next few days. Of course she sleeps like there is no tomorrow so sleeps through her feeds and always has done but when she wakes and is hunbgry she seems to be looking around for a solid feed rather than a milk feed which is something The Dictator Miles never did so its all new to me. So yeah she said to still offer her mamybe 2 bottle feeds a day but try and get most of her protien and calcium into her via her solid feeds and then when she is 9 months old just totally forget about the bottles.

Clarinda: oh thats fantastic about doing the BF ante natal class, i would have loved someone to come in and show us how to feed cos we just pretended to do it on a doll and i never realyl got it and struggled like mad with Miles so much so that i expressed for the first 3 months of his life cos i just never got it so thats fantastic that you are doing that.
Well Miles does love being at the house and bossing the workers around - no joke he really does.. so ive been asking him which room he wants and which is Greta's and Miles being Miles has moved all the rooms around and we are all sleeping in different places than id like but thats ok i can deal with that rolleyes.gif I think we are just gonna have to bug DH and spend lots of time at the house cos he just seems to love being there and loves watching all the builders so we might just have to hang out there for a few hours a day - i guess i can tek Greta's snuggle bed and stick her in one of the rooms to sleep.

Rach: Well i went out and bought play-doh and crayons, he isnt really into toys but he adores crafty things and loves imaginary play .. you know where you sit there and play out all the countries you are going to take over one by one in years to come Tounge1.gif so yeah if i can keep his little mind entertained he might stop him being a little stressed about the move and making life hell on the rest of us!

Leish: oh good luch with the 5kg weight loss - i have packed my scales so cant get weighed sad.gif never mind, a surprise how well ie done when we get our stuff out of storage hands.gif
Greta will happily sleep in her pram, she will happily sleep in most places wub.gif (oh except the car) she does like to sleep Tounge1.gif as im sure you know! trouble is she will only sleep for up to an hour and no more and she needs LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of sleep so thats not enough for her so i always feel so sorry for her and then end up bringing her back to the house/apartment so she can go in her cot and have a good 2 or 3 hours which is what she likes to have a couple times a day. But i guess she will just have to compromise for the time being - it is only 3 weeks im sure i can cope unsure.gif

DH just called, he said day care has rung him to say Miles is having a lovely day.. so thats great - he worned them he was a little unsure of us moving and he is a little upset so they said they'd keep an eye on him but they called say he has resumed his spot as top dog of the babies room rolleyes.gif and is having a ball although he does throw a tantrum every time they attempt to take him through into the pre shcool room.. so they are keeping in the babies room as they thing with the change at home and the change at day care its a little too much for him. I guess at the end of the day he is a little 2yrd old baby and is unsure - just hard to remember what when he has been sitting on his bed having a tantrum for 7 hours out of the day and no joke he will sit there that long... he is shocking. Thank God i find him so angelic to look at hey! And thank God Greta is so calm and the total opposite of her big brother laughing2.gif

Ok best go and make up this ride on thing for him so he spots it when he comes through the door and gets all excited wub.gif

thanks again for everyones support- i cant believe how badly i am handling this hosue move, i actually thing it would have been better to camp out in the house cos Miles seems to love hanging out there but i jus worry as there are about 7 workmen there that its a little dangerous for him - oh im waffling again waves.gif
koiles
Just checking in to the new thread, E is on the playmat so not sure how long I'll get before he starts cracking the poos so I won't attempt persies.

Daycare is definitely agreeing with him. I had my support group this morning and he spent 30mins solid playing on his tummy with the other kids without one little whinge oomg.gif. He just needs someone to play with him...at home he whinges as soon as I put him down to go to the loo!

He looovvveesss the baby yoghurt, so thanks who ever it was that mentioned it the other day. He eats the whole tub and would probably eat more if I let him, but it also seems to really fill him too. He had his first bottle at 6.30am, yoghurt at 10am and then didn't want his second bottle til 1pm!

Ok he's rolled himself over to the front door, best be off! BBL
MnM
Oh dear Koiles, sounds like another little Miles in the making laughing2.gif needs constant attention! Excellent on the yoghurts - Greta has one every morning for brekkie and loves them so much.

Just wanted to quikly say thank you so much for letting me vent, even if most of you skipped my post, laughing2.gif and i cant blame you - it was good to get the vent out IYKWIM.. my lovely little boy has been back today, dictator Miles has taken a back seat for now laughing2.gif crazy discription i know i just needed to vent i guess...Anyway i collected him from day care and wasnt looking forward to doing the bath bed thing myself as DH is still working on the house (he would have been home sooner but i went for a sticky beak and said i wanted an extra wall knocking down so they had to work back late - ooops) But picked Miles up and he helped me bath Greta and then we did him he was great - even had a lovely snuggle after G went to bed... ahhh i remember now what a sweetheart he is - although that was just 2 hours, see how we go with a full day tomorrow and DH is working on the house again. But nice to have my little man back again wub.gif i missed him.

He's in bed but im not sure for how long, he got up once as he had lost Teddy up but i think he is a little nervous in a strange room so thats ok, see how he goes - least he isn't screaming.

Have a good night all waves.gif

mandy, I was thinking earlier. When I was working in child care (pre kids) I had a little baby girl who wasn't fussed on her bottles (like Greta) and her mum got us to soak some arrowroot biccies in the formula. Just an idea anyway. original.gif
MnM
Ahhh good idea, the health nurse said to get it into her food as much as possible - she adores her rusks and will eat the entire thing in seconds, i will give that a go biggrin.gif

OK - question for those of you who've done the christening thing with your babies (we haven't and won't be)....what's the ettiquette with who gets invited to a christening? I'm feeling a bit silly about feeling miffed that a good friend's baby is being christened today and I only found out about today on FB (the christening is today).....I even spoke to her briefly last week on the phone and she didn't mention it......am I being weird by feeling shafted by this?
MnM
Hmmm I'm not sure on ettiquette for christening either - mine aren't and won't be either.. All I can say is that 2 good friends of mine had their kids done but they both only invited family only so no friends at all - however DH friends is having a joint wedding for him and his DP and they ate getting their kids baptised or whatever at the same time and have invited us to both - to be honest I wouldn't go if it wasn't for the sake they are getting married too. So I don't really know, I've had both invites and none invites- perhaps it's just if they know you don't believe in it or perhaps it's just a family only thing ... Sorry no help I know, I was a tad miffed I wasn't invited to 1 friends but when I realised it was only family I understood.

DH is working on the house today.. Greta is of course sleeping and Miles has discovered the balcony off the back of the apartment so is riding his bike up and down it and is much more happy hd can bd outdoors even if it is in concrete jungle!

Oh and we have neighbours below and next door ripping out floors and bathrooms and major roadworks on the road below our apartment so VERY LOUD!!

Gonna try Greta with the arrowroot milky idea when she wakes.. See how it goes

waves.gif
koiles
Rach not a lot of my friends have had their kids christened but most of them have been family only affairs, plus whoever the godparents will be and their partners. If they've invited a whole heap of friends as well and you weren't invited I'd be a bit peeved too, but if it's just a small do with family and a few really close friends, it's probably pretty 'normal'.

Mandy let us know how the arrowroot biccies go!

I've spent all day picking E up from around the loungeroom when he gets stuck. He is just rolling rolling rolling. You can see he's so proud of himself too, it's quite funny.

Question - for those with older kids, what side did they start rolling to first, and did this end up being their dominant hand...or the hand they write with iykwim.
Bluey04
Rach - sorry no idea. neither of the boys is christened as we couldn't decide whether to go Anglican or orthodox and neither of us is very religious anyway. The few Anglican christenings we have been to have been family ones and no friends were invited. The few Orthdox ones were friends and family - 100ish people so big events/celebrations.

kylie - never heard of that theory. both boys rolled over from back to front first (ie opposite to normal) and i think they both rolled to their right but can not remember if Liam did or not. he's defintely right handed. it's too early to tell with Alex - they tend to be ambidextereous till 12-18 months at least...

gotta go - screaming baby. he just cut his second tooth - it wasn't there at lunch but is now 4 hours later
jemso
mandy oooh. did you buy anything interesting yesterday? i always find retail therapy works.

i dont know if its too early but you could also probably try weetbix soaked in milk. it should be mushy enough for her. but then i havent eaten weetbix in years so who knows!

jo hahaha. i would normally go on a shopping trip to replace what i got rid of, but luckily for me (and our finances) i feel too fat and frumpy to try on clothes laugh.gif i seem to always wear the same things anyway. i was stoked cos i found this really nice pair of jeans i had never worn and that i had no idea i had and they are great. hilarious.

rach im not sure about christenings either. i guess it depends on how good friends you are with this person. if she was one of your besties then i would have thought you would have been invited, but maybe not if it was just a friend from mothers group IYKWIM? we went to a naming day for a friends little boy years ago, and there were tons of friends there, but i think they just used it as an excuse to have a party!

afm i am having a pretty good day today. havent done anything interesting. DH has been home today, though has to go to work at midnight, so i have had a bit of a break from emily.

i think she is getting sick, she is coughing a bit and it sounds a bit mucusy. does anyone with experience know if there is anything i can do? i am getting a vapouriser on monday or tuesday, so hopefully that helps, but hoping it doesnt get too bad before then.

oh and i am very excited, emily IS eating my delicious homemade food now. i think maybe she just had to get used to eating, but she is going great guns now. she is on 2 meals a day at the moment, and will usually eat 2 icecubes of food each time.

and she has started rocking on her knees. looks like her legs ARENT too fat to get under her hahahaha. she looks SO SO SO cute though when she does it, and every time she does it i just want to pick her up and squeeze her cos she is so cute and i am so proud of her!
koiles
Marina my aunty's GP told her when my cousin was younger that a baby's penis will lie to the side that they will eventually write with. I didn't really know what to think when she told me, but E's has always lay to the left and he always reaches with his left hand. Even when he holds something in both hands, he grabs it with the left then puts it into the right hand. And I just realised today that he's never rolled on his right side, he only rolls on the left. He can roll onto his right side, but never rolls over on that side. DH and I are both righties. Just thought it would be interesting to see if other kids rolled on their dominant side! laughing2.gif

DH and I are in official babyproofing mode tonight once E has gone to bed. sad.gif I so didn't think I'd have to do it so soon it seems to have come really quickly. I put E on his mat this afternoon and went to the bathroom and by the time I came back he was at the tv cabinet pulling and chewing on a cord that attached to something not far away from falling off on top of him. Sent shockwaves through me. Let the babyproofing begin, sigh.
MnM
I thought it was normal to roll back to belly first ?? That's what both kids have done anyway.

Koiles: DH hangs left and is right handed

Greta rolls to the right, I believer Miles rolled left. I think it's common for kids up to the age of 3 or do to equally use both right and left hands - Miles uses both when drawing, he doesn't appear to have a favourite yet - I believe it's not determined if they'll be lefties or righties till after the age of 3 anyhow.

Just had a lovely BBQ in the outdoor area we found at the apartment.

roll2.gif Greta is sat in her chair with her foot in her mouth and is p*ssing herself laughing... Must be tickling her feet having them in her mouth wub.gif

Jess: biccie was a huge success... Greta lover it, she loves her food so much.
so that's something I can give her soaked in milk... Yippee.
Great that Emily eats your food now - I love cooking for both my kids. Greta only ate half an avocado today when we went out shopping Tounge1.gif. I got some pj's for the kids for winter and some cow boy boots for me.

Ok so how much is everyones bubs eating?
Greta has:
2 cubes fruit (ice cubs tray sized cubes) with 1/2 carton yoghurt at 7.30am for brekkie
1/2 avocado or 3/4 banana or paw paw mushed up or papaya mushed up for lunch at 11.30m
3 cubes veggies + 2 cubes fruit at 3.30pm for dinner
she is offered a bottle of milk at 6.30am when she wakes, she usually takes 100mls of so.
Offered a bottle around 2.30pm - pretty much always refuses it totally
offered a bottle milk 6.15pm before bed, has anywhere between none and 50mls
so not too bothered about the milk side of things cos I know Greta hates milk but wondered how much solids others are having.
Oh Greta is 6.5 months and started on solids once a day around 5.5 months.
Iammum
Kylie - LOL at E getting into stuff hehe cheeky boy! With the rolling both Jake and Luc rolled to the right, Jacob is right handed! Luc is ampidextrus at the moment.

Jess - You want a humidifier, not a vaporiser..... and for the time being taking her in the bathroom and run the shower hot and stand with her so she can enhail the steam. It will losen the mucas on her chest making it easier to cough up. Obviously just watch her temp too, and her breathing. If she starts breathing really fast little breaths or you can see her breathing with her belly as in she draws her belly in really tight to enhail, take her to see a doctor immediatly.

Mandy - Ive tried weetbix with Luc he has it most mornings, I make it up with his formula and add some fruit puree, I use half a weetbic and 60ml of formula milk.

Haha I got impatient hearing everyones babies getting on their knees so I helped Luc out onto his knees he started rocking back and forth and thought he was the greatest hahahaha so hopefully he'll try do it himself!

Lucas has been eating breakfast everyday, weetbix and fruit puree with his formula mixed with it. he nibbles on what we have at dinner time or has veggie puree (pumpkin, potato, carrot & broccolli) sometimes he has lunch instead of dinner. Found Yogurt is a no no for him, everytime his had it (twice) his been grizzly and really difficult to settle for 2 days after so it maybe given him a tummy ache. His still grizzly but not as bad as yesterday, lately Ive had to rock and pat and shhhh him to sleep for every nap and it takes me at least 10mins eveytime then he only sleep for 30mins. He has 1 big sleep in the morning for about 1- 1.5 hours then the rest of the day is cat naps. Ive found to stop the grizzling I have to take him out, I think he gets bored of being at home LOL great! So if i spend a day at home I have Jake bouncing off the walls and Luc whinging and grizzling ahhhhhh so I gotta think of things to do.... Jake goes back to school next week so thats a plus!

Bluey04
Mandy - actually usually front to back rolling happens first. they need stronger neck and rm msucles to flip over from back to front. but ultimately it doesn't really matter which way over they do it
as for food. Alex will eat,
morning BF about 7 am
brekky abut 8am - about 2 tablespoons of cereal mixed about 1.5 tablespoons of pureed fruit
midmorning Bf about 10.30-11
lunch about 12 - half an avocado, or one fo those puree saches, or aout 4 tablespoons of hoem made pureed veggies
Afternoon BF about 2ish
Afternoon BF around 5ish
dinner about 6pm - similer to lunch. Small banana or mixed veggies (about 4-5 cubes)
Bed, bath, Bedtme BF at about 8pm

kylie - thats funny. i don't think teh hangignt o whichever side has anythignt o do with it thoguh - L hangs to left and is definitely right handed. Agree with Mandy though - it's normal for them to use either hand for a long time. They don't often show a preference until nearly their 2nd brithday if not later. Liam staretd showing right handed preference about 18 months i guess. Alex is still using both, often he'll pick up things with left and pass them into right. he holds his spoon and rusks etc in his left...

ETA what is it with kids doing everything all at once? in the last two days we've had 2 teeth come out and he's started rocking on all 4's tonight. he's growing up so fast!!! cry1.gif
MnM
Ahhh I didn't know they were meant to roll tummy to back first, my kids are odd then, they have both rolled back to tummy first - greta gets to her tummy first then gets stuck and can't get back and gets cross Tounge1.gif
So looks like Greta is eating about the same amount of solids so all good.
Freyja
Rach - We didn't invite all our friends to our kid's baptisms. We invited family and our really old friends that have been around for what seems like forever. It's a bit hard with churchie things like that - I know a lot of our friends have their own churches/beliefs and didn't want to impose on them or make them come along to a catholic ceremony when it wasn't their belief, iykwim. Easy way out was to keep it simple and small. Maybe that's what your friend is doing. Religious ceremonies can be a bit tricky.

mandy - Owen's food:
6am breastfeed
8.30 am 1/2 cup rice cereal with fruit, offered a breastfeed but usually refuses.
10am Breastfeed
12.30 5 cubes pureed fruit or avocado plus dessert
3pm breastfeed
5.30 5 cubes pureed veges plus dessert
7.30 breastfeed

Prior to last week I would give him 4 cubes for lunch/dinner and no dessert. Last week I upped to 5 cubes for lunch/dinner. This week I have had to start offering dessert as he wants more food. I will now up him to 6 cubes for lunch and dinner and see if that satisfies him.

I know my first, Sophie, loved her solids and pretty much refused all milk except her first and last morning feed once she started. I would add cheese and yoghurt to keep her calcium intake up and taught her to drink from a straw so she would at least get some fluids down (refused a bottle). My second refused all solids for months. I'd rather a child that is a good solid eater - looks like Owen is the same. Enjoy it with Greta original.gif Glad you had a better day. Poor Miles mustn't cope with change too well - Sophie is the same sad.gif

lammum- Ooh, am about to try Owen on yoghurt. Hope it doesn't upset him. Good on Lucas enjoying his knee time - Owen is still a flop who isn't doing anything - except eat, lol.

Kylie - that's interesting re: the way a penis lies. I must have a look tomorrow as I haven't taken any notice, lol. Happy baby proofing!

Jess
- It's so exciting when you see them learning new things original.gif I'm yet to see Owen doing anything like that.

Sydney meet up
: I might be able to make it. Depends what day. My Rose is turning 4 on Thursday so you can imagine the baking I have to do for a) pe school b) cake at home and c) playgroup. Don't organise it around me though .Pick a day and I'll see if I can come original.gif

I have such a great day yesterday. I finally used the massage/facial voucher the parent of my kindy class gave me before I went on maternity leave last year - it was heaven! Reminded me of all the lovely pampering I can do in Bali and can't wait til we go again.

Did I mention there is a possibility I may be working 1-2 days a week starting in July? Or possibly earlier. I'm a bit nervous thinking about what I'll do with Owen (either centre or family daycare) but am excited about the prospect of earning a bit of cash.
koiles
I'm so bored. I have so much I could be doing but just can't be bothered. I'm trying to find out where to buy kids ear muffs...want to take E to the footy tomorrow but he really hates loud noises and I think the siren will be too much for him. I've found a few online shops that sell them but not sure where to look IRL. Shouldn't have left it to the last minute. I'll never learn!

Mandy E has 1 whole tub of baby yoghurt at 10am which I'll start mixing with fruit next week...he's only had vegies up until now but I'll introduce fruit soon (once I can be bothered making some up!) and 2-3 cubes of vegies at 6pm depending on how hungry he is. Plus he'll have a little of whatever I'm eating during the day as finger food, but he doesn't really eat much of that just plays with it more than anything.

E has a sensitive gut so I need to be careful not to overload his tummy or he'll get a gut ache all evening. Once a week I'll try him on a little bit more and see how he goes, if he tolerates it he can have more at every feed, if he doesn't then I don't give him more and try again the following week. He's 6m next week and has been on solids for 2m now. His appetite for solids stayed pretty small for quite a while probably because we started so young, he enjoyed it but just didn't need/want much. The last week or so it's really started to increase. He still sees his milk as his main food though and has 4 bottles a day.

Marina I think E using mostly his left is because his right one was injured so he's just learnt to favour the left for now. Just thought it was interesting hearing what the GP said and then thinking about him rolling too. If the favourite doesn't show itself until 18m I can stop looking now haha!

Kristy what kind of work will you be doing? Hope you love it as much as I'm loving being back in the swing of things. And daycare is doing E the world of good, he's just learning so much so quickly. Oooh a massage and facial...heaven!

Jess woo-hoo that's great Emily is finally eating your delicious home cooking! Aww how cute she's up on her knees. E won't let me do that, whenever I try he locks his legs so I can't bend them...little bugger! haha

AFM I was just sitting there tonight telling mum everything E has done this week and it just blew me away! In one week he's started really pushing up on his arms, started doing consecutive rolls and rolling all over the place, started daycare, said 2 words, started trying to sit up. All in the space of 7 days. Crazy.
Little Miss P
Hi All,

Porscha's food is as follows:

7am - bottle - only drinks about 100ml if were lucky
8:30 - 70ml baby cube of puree fruit OR just started 1/2 weetbix with boiling water to soften it and about 50ml formula mixed in
10:30am - 100ish ml bottle
12:30 - lunch baby valia yoghurt or a custard or puree fruit if she had weetbix for breakfast
3:30 - bottle 100ml
5:30 - dinner baby cube of puree veg and yoghurt or custard dessert
6:00 - bottle 100ml
9:00 - last bottle 50ml

Im relieved to hear other babies are refusing their milk too I thought it was just P!

Porscha has been crawling for a couple of weeks now, it just looks so funny cos I am used to seeing this little baby and all of a sudden she is learning so much. She has started sitting up this week too and uses her had to steady herself when she is about to fall over!
She did push up on her hands and knees and rock for a couple of weeks before hand.
Sorry girls, still learning everyones names I will get there and then be able to be a bit more personal with my posts!

Koiles we have had to baby proof aswell and its a pain! No matter what you do and how much you put up or away they still find something to grab and destroy! The latest was the dog's water dish! Now she goes back there looking for it everytime I put it there for him!

Frejya I am looking at going back to my old job for 2 days a week too within the next few months. I can totally understand your nervous feeling The thougt of leaving Porscha makes me feel really sad but on the other hand It will be nice to get my brain back into gear! Also the cash will be great as you said! Im hoping to leave her with my aunties 1 day each per week. Just have to wait and see how it pans out

I'll try and get on here once a day to see whats happening, P has just been a bit of a nightmare this week and not sure if you heard but we had an earthquake here in adelaide last night and it scared porscha (and DH and I!!!) and then she wouldnt settle again and when she did she woke again at 3 and 5 ugrhhh!

Night All x

Kylie, sounds like daycare is exactly what E (and you ) needed. original.gif

Mandy Joel doesn't eat alot of food. But I haven't got serious about it either. Mostly because he doesn't seem overly hungry. (not that you would know with the size of him- you would think he is on a 3 course meal 3x a day. lol)

When he eats dinner he picks at whatever we have so atm he might have 1 or 2 pieces of zucchini or squash, 1 or 2 green beans, maybe a 2-3 cm slice of corn on the cob, 1 or 2 pieces of sweet potato, 1 or 2 slices of avocado, grated carrot. He won't eat all that, nor do I offer all of that. lol he will have a selection of maybe 3?

occaisionaly I might give him half a banana to chew on through the day or some grated apple or a couple of slices of avocado, but not often. As I said he is not really hungry. I think he just likes to eat with us at dinner time.

Thanks for the replies about Christening. I spoke to her late yesterday afternoon and she said it was family only, so now I feel a bit silly for being a bit miffed by it. cool.gif rolleyes.gif
blondeboys
Rach, I'm glad you were able to sort it out. we had family and friends at our boys christenings. original.gif

I also meant to add before along with corn on the cob, broccoli florets and red capsicum cut into long sticks are a huge hit with Joel (and the other 2 boys. lol)

Morning Mumma's

MIA member here...

Welcome Little Miss P, I hope we can all help you with any answers and support you need. Just ask away... I am Jo, I have three gorgeous girls, Olivia (6), Rachel (4) and Hannah (Nov bub). I live in the blue mountains.

Hello to everyone, sounds like a busy week for everyone.

Well what a week we have had. **Warning long post**
It feels like we have been to hell this week and it all happened tuesday. The girls got their tonsils and adnoids and the operation for both of them went great. They were very brave girls and got through all of that with flying colours. We had comments from the recovery ward staff that Olivia was the best child they had in recovery for quiet a while. She was a model patient. Made me very proud to be her mum. The afternoon was good for them both, they wanted to drink and got to eat some jelly, then Rachel wanted sandwiches which she scoffed down two. Olivia had one as well. So according to the nurse they were going great and should be ready to go home in the morning. I had Hannah at the hospital with us as well and she was really good, then at 7pm I said to my hubby that I was ready to head home with Hannah (he was staying with them both for the night) and I said goodnight, said thanks to the nurses and told them Thanks, and off I went.
Got home, put Hannah to bed, she left a massive sigh (as if to say "Oh this is my bed) went off to sleep and I got changed in my pj's ready for bed. Rang my aunty to left her know how the day went, then I had call waiting coming through while talking to her, I hung up the phone and answered the call waiting. It was John and he said Olivia had coughed up blood, (she had a post op bleed) he wasn't making any sense and I kept asking him if he wanted me back there, all he kept saying was "it is up to you". OMG I was so upset and in two minds as to what to do, so by 9pm I was back in the car with Hannah and my mum driving me back to the hospital.
When I got to the hospital, I went back to the ward and they had changed the rooms for the girls so they were next to the nurse's station, and there were so many people around Olivia's bed it was very scary to walk back into seeing that. Then the surgeon was asking us about if we didn't want her to have a blood transfusion, I said "do what ever you have to do to make sure my baby is ok". OMG I didn't want to loose my baby. It was such a fright to see all of that happening. They took her back to theatre and gave her a blood transfusion and found a small bleeder so that was quarterised, but the surgeon was very unsure of how it happened. We are just grateful that we were still at the hospital and this happened there. I ended up spending the night at the hospital with all the girls and John. I bought Rachel home on Wednesday, and Olivia needed to stay an extra day, so she came home Thursday.
So now we are home and on the way to a full recovery. Having a few quiet days at home. Need to catch up on washing...

Better keep moving, talk to you all later

Food...Riley is a bit hit and miss with food

She will have 1 kiddie weet-bix mixed with part of her bottle. She generally eats all of that and then she will drink the rest of her bottle. Around 11 she will have another bottle of about 150ml. Then around 2 she will have some yogurt and another bottle around 3. Somedays we can get some dinner into her other days she just has a bottle. She has never been into the whole eating thing she hopefully as she gets older she will turn the corner.

Kylie, LOL about the direction they hang. What if they hang straight down?

Jo, those post op bleeds are so scary. Jack had one but it was a week after he had his op...2am ambo ride to the local hospital and then another ambo ride to the kids hospital! Scary stuff! glad all is well and i hope she is eating really well too!

Really slack post form me but i am getting all the small boys clothes out and washed and going to list them in the trading room. Meant to do it last year but pregnancy got in the way!
K~and~A~plus~7
did i scare you all away LOL

Wow, i am embarrassed about how many MCN's we have here that arent being used. Spent the afternoon taking pics and uploading - poor Dh had to deal with the kids going feral!
koiles
Little Miss P we started babyproofing today...it's going to cost us a small fortune. We have one of those lowline tv cabinets and underneath is all open so we'll need to get something to board the bottom up with, as he'd still be able to get at all the cords. We also have a really large archway between lounge and kitchen and I've no idea how to block that off...we'd need a safety gate with about 6 extensions, so I might look for something else. Such a massive PITA, I thought I'd have more time, I didn't think about the rolling I just had my eye on the crawling!

Rach don't worry I'd feel exactly the same, especially if she didn't even mention it to you on the phone...I've had a few moments like that where you end up feeling silly in the end, but it's only because you care about them and want to share their special day with them...not like you're annoyed you didn't get an invite because you wanted to scab a free lunch or something Tounge1.gif.

Clarinda I hadn't thought of red capsicum. We eat a lot of it in our house and I haven't thought to try E with it yet, thanks for the suggestion.

Jo racvia how scary for you hhugs.gif so glad to hear both girls are ok now and Olivia has recovered quickly.

Karen lol ambidextrous? hehe. What MCN's are you selling if you don't mind me asking? I'm always on the lookout. I found 3 brand new Itti's at the Baby & Kids Market today (looked in perfect nick and when I asked she said they'd been worn 3 times) for $12...was $5 for one or 3 for $12...nearly danced out of there! I did tell her she could probably get more for them selling them online, she didn't seem like she knew too much about them! Score.

AFM we took E to his first AFL game today. I found some slimline adult earmuffs in Bunnings that fit him pretty well. Thank goodness we had them...the first siren went and I wasn't ready for it and didn't have the earmuffs on him...he screamed and I thought uh-oh we're going to have to make a quick exit. Once the earmuffs went on he absolutely loved it. He had a total ball. We left at half time because I didn't want to have him out too late or miss his bedtime, but it was great!

Here's a pic of him at the footy:

Also, I know I ask a lot of questions, but how often do the grandparents see your kids? Particularly with your firstborn. We're having a bit of trouble balancing things with the ILs at the moment and I'm not sure whether they're expecting too much or we're not being accommodating enough iykwim.
MnM
Grandparents, both sets twice, they all live overseas so visit once a year.... Miles really misses them and asks for them which is quite hard.
jemso
kylie we have both our parents take turns babysitting emily when we go bowling on sunday nights, so they get to see her at least once a fortnight. i see my mum every wednesday (and sometimes go visit her at work too) and sometimes my stepdad is home when i am at my mums house. MIL will sometimes call up in the off week and ask to come over for a coffee, but usually FIL only sees her once a fortnight. in no way are they "demanding" anymore though (ILs were a bit at first, wanted us to visit them every week)

afm this has to be quick cos emily will be awake for her 1st feed any minute.

but guess what??? im ovulating. so hopefully i will be pregnant this time next month. how silly that you get excited about stupid things like that when you want a baby. i got excited when AF was back too.

anyways, just couldnt not share that with you guys. will be back later....
Freyja
I'm sick today sad.gif I have a cold coming on - sore throat, aching body and joints. Of course it's the day DH returns to work so I have 3 kids to care for on my own.

Kylie - My mum sees the kids about once a fortnight but will be once a week soon as she will be taking DD1 to iceskating lessons then staying for dinner. MIL sees them about once a month, occasionally a bit more. My Dad - twice a year, FIL maybe once every 2-3 months. E looks so cute at the footy. wub.gif I'll return to teaching when I return to work but not at my school. My mum's school has funding and needs a reading recovery teacher to push their 'bottom' readers on a bit. It's all one-on-one and lovely, calm work original.gif No stress and $$$. Yay.

Jess - Exciting for you! Now you just have the horrid two week wait.

Jo - OMG, how frightening! So pleased you are all home and on the mend now.

Little miss p - Hi! original.gif Will you be putting Porscha into daycare when you return to work?

I guess I better change Owen and get him his breakfast. I have the three kids in my bed right now (I can see them from the computer) watching a movie - Owen is in the middle playing. Cute.
MnM
Well Greta's just down for her first nap of the day... Then when she wakes we are heading off to meet up with the girls from the DIG Aug 07 from when I had Miles, looking forward to seeing all their new bubs.

Jess: Good luck TTC although I must admit I think you're insane for wanted another already laughing2.gif 2 under 2 oomg.gif Miles had just turned 2 when I had Greta and man is it hard work!
But good luck.

Best get Miles ready to go out... Let battle commence Tounge1.gif
blondeboys
Good luck Jess for this month. I always wishe we had each of our boys 18m apart, but unfortunately it didn't work out how I wanted. lol

Kylie, our parents don't see the boys as much as they used to. When Blake was born we would go to MILs once a week and same as my parents. But now we moved 1-1.5hrs away from Newcastle, then MIL has moved as well and is min 1.5hrsd away, my mum is down in Melbourne for 12m for work and Dad is 1.5hrs away. So although we make an effort to see everyone, no one seems to make the effort to see us. Then MIL whinges I don't send her photos. If she came to isit she couls always taker her own photos. lol
MnM
Think Miles is on his 3rdt time out of the day already and its not even 9am yet rolleyes.gif but we've been up since 6am so i guess thats only one tiem out an hour... oh he's putting a nappy on his Waggs the dog now so he's entertained for at least 5 seconds!

Iammum
Kylie - My boys dont see their grandparents nearly as much as Id like them to, being a young mum. My mum wasnt very interested in being a nana with Jacob as when Jacob was born my little brother was 7 years old so mum was finishing her raising baby/toddlers stage. She did have him once a week on a tuesday for i think a month while i went to work but when that stopped I think we seen her once or twice a month. Now we still only see her about once a fortnight. Jacob has seen my dad 3 times, Lucas has never met him. MIL used to live in the same unit complex as us when Jake was born so he'd see her every day or 2......lol and she babysat sometimes. Then once she moved down to bunbury, she would take him for a weekend every few months or so which was sooo good but god we missed him! Now shes in QLD she's met Lucas once, when she came over last month. She is a wonderful grandma loves all her grandkids to bits I really wish my mum was more like her in that way, but she is getting better. She was really excited about Lucas arriving and she is more into baby's now hahaha, so we're getting there! and FIL comes to visit and take a million photos about once a month. As you can see both mine a DP parents are devorced so its hard having to go 4 different places and the boys have so many nana's and pops its not funny! both mine and 1 of DP's nanas are still alive and kicking too hahaha and its a bit of a mouthful to say great nana, so jake still calls them nana and the one great pop, pop! with the dogs cause he used to train greyhounds lol

Ok lucas whinging gtg, have investigator coming today too. So hopefully my claim will be finalised soon,

Jayniepoo
Argh i thought it had been really quite then realised that we were on a new thread ddoh.gif

So just had lots of reading to catch up on laughing2.gif

Solids - mmm Phoebe isnt really having much at all. I offer it to her most days, but she just isnt interested. Clamps her mouth shut and if i try and get some in there she cracks it. I have tried her with finger food, but wasnt overly successful either. Amy was the same with food, so i'm not concerned, she'll get there She's having 5 or 6 bfs a day still.

Grandparents - the girls only have one grandparent - FIL. He is so cute with them though, so its good. We sometimes see him heaps and then other times it might be a month in between. We dont speak to MIL and she hasnt, nor will she, meet the girls, and both of my parents have passed away. We do have some great family friends who we consider "surrogate grandparents" though wub.gif We see them about once a month too

Things have been hectic here but quite good! Last night Phoebe slept through till 5.30, hopefully she will go back to her pre sickie sleeping pattern! Amy had a good night too, so we didnt have any little bodies in the bed with us at ALL! Was lovely hehe Oh and i had Phoebe in a night nappy for the first time last night and it worked a treat, so super pleased about that - we will now have a 100% cloth bummed girly! Now if only we could toilet train Amy we wouldnt have to buy any more disposables laughing2.gif

PT is going good too, and so is my healthy(ish) eating. Must be doing something right, cause i have lost 2kgs already ddance.gif Very pleased with that start!

Anyway, best go! Sorry for my lack of personals, i am always reading, just not always posting. Lots of love to you all xoxoxox
jemso
leish thats hilarious you put lucas' legs under him! i did the same thing to emily LOL, but they never stayed there, as soon as i took my hands away she was flat again. so funny though.

hope you get some good news about your claims progress, cant believe its taken them so long to get the investigator out to see you.

mandy dont think your kids are strange. emily rolled back to front first, and can still only occasionally roll from tummy to back. i am pretty sure lots of other bubs are like that too.

kristy wow, owen eats a lot. i guess its not suprising that they can eat so much, cos they would use a lot of energy.

jo glad to hear olivia is ok now. must have been SO stressful for you!

kylie meant to say it before but forgot. evan looks SO cute in those earmuffs.

jayne good work on the weight loss, and the kid free bed!

afm having a lazy home day today. i should really do some house-selling-prep cleaning, but dont know if i can be bothered, i have already cleaned the kitchen and some of the crap off the dining table...
MnM
waves.gif ended up having a lovely day today. Went off to the library this afternoon for story time, it was great fun i will be going to that again - Miles was a bit annoying but Greta loved it and giggled her way through it - Miles got involved in the craft time and has made a little love heart doggy which we have brought home to show Daddy... who is currently working on the house...he's actually going in the office tomorrow and Wednesday for a break laughing2.gif

Jayne: awww that made me really sad to read about your parents, and here was me whinging about mine visiting sad.gif you should have tole me to shut my silly mouth. Well done on the weightloss.. ca'n't wait for your website to be up and running, i have my eye on one of those reversable dresses with the butterfly design, they are GORGEOUS hheart.gif them.

Jess; i've actually never known a single baby roll tummy to back first, ive always put both my kids on their backs and they have rolled over onto their tummy furst - the same with all my mums group, they all rolled from back to tummy first so learning thats the opposite way to normal is a whole new thing for me. All we really did for the hosue ssale was de-clutered. i got 2 huge boxes and removed abotu 3/4 of all our stuff like photo's and everything and just left a couple of photos and a few candles around the place... i must say though i am a neat freak so there was never much cluter around the place.

koiles: good luck baby proofing. I fear we will have to do it for Greta - never had to do anythign for Miles, he has never ever touched anything. When my mums group came over they used to have a heart attack at all the low nicknacks and things we have and the open TV/DVD unit and their kids went straight to it every time - we had to spend most of the time outdoors - they all have baby gates and locks on this and that but its not something ive ever needed to do with Miles cos he has just never touched anything, we dont even own a baby gate laughing2.gif i imagine we will get a shock when Greta starts to crawl as everything she picks up goes into her mouth like a 'normal' baby.. Miles never put anything in his mouth at all as a baby - so i imagine we will now have to start watchng things laying around on the floor like we never had to when Miles was a baby.. ahh well, 2 kids like Miles is too much to ask for i guess - although sometimes i could sell him, its times like this i realise what a fab little boy he really is wub.gif
hope you had a blast at work today tthumbs.gif

Well i cooked Greta up some broccoli and cauliflower compo and tought it looked gross but she just loved it oomg.gif i had to go back and get her another helping laughing2.gif Mind you she hasnt turned her nose up at anything yet, except apple those couple of times but loves it now i mix it with pear.. my liottle eating machine laughing2.gif

Hope every one is going well with the weightloss, i cant weigh in as we packed our scales and im too cheap to pay $2 at the chemist to use theirs so will wait till we move into the house in 10 days time eexcite.gif cant wait.

Ermmm not much to say really. Oh i had to laugh at Miles. He has a hand washing obsession, so asked for his hands wasing just now and i usually use that detol gel stuff - well it was in the bathroom and Greta is in her cot right next to that room so i took him in the en-suite to wash his hands and the detol is in the other bathroom so i grabbed some soap that the apartment owners supplied - which is something i never usually buy myself. Anyway i unwrapped it and gave it to Miles to wash his hands and he's lookng at it and goes "Whats that Mummy" poor kid had never in his life seen a bar of soap - can you beleive that.. when i was growing up we never had lotions we just had a good old bar of soap - i cant beleive what kind of world our kids will grow up in.. Miles was asking for the Wiggles on the other night and i was saying that we dont have any recorded on the IQ so he could only watch the cartoon network and he just didnt understand that he couldnt watch what he wanted to on deman - i mean i grew up with 4 channels and no video recorder never mind a DVD player or IQ :lol; the mind boggles - ok thats my blast from the past - soap laughing2.gif

Ok best go entertain the small boy he just empited a cup of water all over the floor for no reason so just got sent to bed again rolleyes.gif

Hi mummies! Sorry to be MIA this past week, it's all been a bit difficult of late but hopefully things will improve soon. How is everyone? I haven't had a chance to read through so am behind on persies, hope all you mamas and gorgeous bubs are well.

Here, N had his 6mo checkup this morning. I had the same MCHN who annoyed me last time and she could only improve from then, but it still wasn't great so I hope my normal lady is back next visit. She kept me waiting for 15mins then tried to rush me through to make up time. I hate that! If someone is going to have a sign up asking that you be on time for your appt, the least they could do is be on time to or at least try & give you the appt you came for. She tried to rush me out without actually weighing and measuring N, then was trying so quickly to do it when I insisted that I told her 3 times he wasn't lying down flat for his length one before finally giving up. It's just a guide and I'll keep in mind that he's at least a couple cm taller because she was too impatient. Anyhoo, he came in at:
weight - 8.475kg
height - 70cm (by her, 73cm by me when we got home, okay, going to let it go now before I get grumpy again but seriously, is it so hard to properly measure a child?!! rant.gif ok, promise, rant over now)
HC 44cm

I spoke with her about me still doing 3-4hrly feeds all day long and she suggested that I replace one of my BFs with an FF, which we're doing for the lunchtime one in the hope that it helps with hunger and sleep. She's also said that now he's going to turn 6mo and is well & truly settled on solids, I can start resettling him at one of his overnight wakings instead of a feed, but to expect a week of fight from him. I'm hoping for less, but we'll see. She also told me to introduce a bedtime cuddly which you can apparently do from 6mo too. Has anyone else done this? I gave S & D their's when they were older so not sure if it's too soon??

In other news, N is cutting new teeth - 4 on top to give him 6 overall. Poor little munchkin, the first of the four is well & truly through but the other 3 are still at that partly poking through the gum stage. ouch! Since he's been sore, the biting has taken on a whole new level again. If he's still biting once these four cut I think it might be time to wean and give up on the dream of BFing to 1yo ddown.gif.

Wow, this ended up being a long me post blush.gif, sorry! I will have to come back later for persies because the boys need some mummy time. BBL

Solids
-My little piggy has 4 210ml bottles a day.Plus breakfast, lunch and dinner. He was starving by dinner and I have just introduced a small bit of afternoon tea.
He loves the food i cook for him but still occasionally give him a jar just incase I am stuck out one day and I need to give him one.He loves the gels, has anyone else tried them? He also loves rusks!!

Grandparents
-We see my parents every week and once a week Mum will come to swimming or we will go shopping or to my sisters.
DH's parents we try to see them once a fortnight but sometimes it will stretch out to a month! blush.gif

AFM-M is sleeping over at Mum's because tomorrow we have to take H to the Hip Dysplasia clinic for his check up but I think all will be fine!! So DH is at work tonight and so it's just H and me!! I think I have a very quiet night ahead.I feel a bit lonely laughing2.gif

I have felt a bit down the past few days ddown.gif no reason why I just woke up like it yesterday shrug.gif My Dr told me this will happen (with the PND) but the days I feel like this will become further apart and I guess that's what has happened. I have been feeling so good and I've had ppl say to me I've been so much happier and smiling more and then to wake up and go backwards for no good reason was a bit of a shock I guess! I'm hoping it will pass because feeling like this is just awful!I'm glad I will be having a quiet night though and I am reading a really good book so I think I might curl up in bed and read whilst eating chocolate tthumbs.gif

Well I'm off to potter around, talk soon waves.gif
Jayniepoo
Jo - yep that is certainly what happens with me. Some days i feel fabulous, or even for a few days and the wham! it hits again *hugs* hope you feel better after your quiet night and some choccie (oh that sounds sooo nice lol)

Nat - grrr to CHNs like that! They sh*t me when they rush you out glare.gif As for the bf - i still feed Phoebe 3 - 4 hourly. And she really isnt eating any meals yet either. I dont think it really matters does it? unsure.gif Oh and i gave Phoebe her blanky/teddy cuddlie a while ago now. She loves it. Rolls over and snuggles in and drifts off to sleep wub.gif

Jo, sorry to hear you've been feeling a bit down. I hope it's just a phase that passes quickly for you bbighug.gif

Jayne, thanks for letting me know about the blankie. I'll give N his teddy and see how it goes. It's a relief to hear that I'm not the only one on the 3-4 hrly feeds with Phoebe doing them too. The difference here though is that N is having 3 meals of solids a day - porridge or toast & sometimes yoghurt for breakfast, sandwich (if he hasn't had toast) or vegies and fruit for lunch, vegies and fruit and yoghurt for dinner. It's a huge amount of food, I don't know where he puts it but he still has 2 x 200ml FFs and 5 BFs. He does have the cutest baby bangles on his thighs but I seriously don't know where it all goes shrug.gif. I've been down lately and blush.gif got a bit teary when I read back through the thread & saw what the other bubbas are having for feeds. The others on 3 meals a day aren't having anywhere near as many feeds. I know you're not meant to compare because they're all so different, but it just feels like such a huge difference and I wish it was more like that here instead of constant feeding & exhaustion. ddown.gif

Better go give myself a mental 'chin up' and bathe these boys. It's nearly bedtime.

Oh Nat hhugs.gif I kinda feel a bit like that, specially since Phoebe is one of the oldest in the group!! She's 7 months - she should be scarfing food by now! But your right, you cant compare, and all babies do things differently!! My girls have been crap eaters, but good with crawling and getting teeth early, so they all have their differences! Hope you get a bit of a break soon honey xoxo
Oh and i hope Little N loves his cuddlie toy wub.gif (Phoebes is manky already from her sucking on it hehe ew)
