Everything crossed Cassi. Wish my place was clean and shiny, but all I got done today was washing.
seepi
hehe SNAP Beagle - me too. Washing galore here. My new washing machine is turning out really well, but it is huge 8.5 litres, and hanging out a load takes ages and uses up most of the space on the washing line. I have done a load a day for about the past week (we had a backlog since we had no washing machine for over a week).

anyway = it started drizzing today, and I said to DP i wished I had got in some of the nearly dry washing, and he says 'oh - should I run out and get it = that stuff has been out there for a week'. Um no it hasn't - every day I do a new load, and it is totally new clean washing that you are seeing on the line....I do wonder why I bother sometimes...

Poor DD is sick with a cold and she cant' stop coughing. Poor little thing = she had real trouble going to sleep. I hope she improves a bit tomorrow. I have a scan and I was going to take her with me. I pretty much have to go - they are booked up for about 2 weeks so if I cancel i wont' get another one.

Quickie from me, its late but I knew you all wanted an update..

Prospective buyers came and looked and talked a bit. They seem quite interested and they are lovely people. He is going to call DH tomorrow I am guessing to discuss their decision and if its positive price. hands.gif I want to go house hunting next weekend before swimming starts back again the week after!

Ali - I have the same issue, huge washing machine but I only have clothes airers on the balcony to dry stuff, and in winter it takes ages!!

Night all, I'll be back tomorrow.. original.gif

HI All !! Just finished watching Under Belly. It was great!

Dh has left. Ella and I couldnt stop crying for ages. It scares her when I cry so much, but this time, I just couldnt hold it in. And Holli just stands there and innocently repeats "Sad"...as she pats me on the back.

Going to take the girls to the beach tomorrow morning!! We need sunshine, fish n chips and icecream!

I gotta pick myself up for my girls!

Put some party pics on FB...hope I added most of you. x please tell me if you cant view them and i will add you.

Night.

Cassi - That is excellent news Excitied for you hope it all goes well. If you can sell privately you can afford to accept a little less on the price as the middle man does not have to be paid so hopefully that will be able to seal the deal original.gif I have sold 2 houses privately so much easier than with an agent.

Back tomorrow for everyone else I have to present a lecture on Wednesday and have a meeting with the hospital nurse manager and I am less than prepared!

Cassi fingers crossed! Very exciting. Hope you can sell and move on.

Ali reflux yuck. I am getting more spd-like pain (but not the full monty as I know that's agony). Have started walking around the block again - all uphill - as I feel heavy and weak. However, doing the walk I felt pretty good! Need to book an ante-natal soon, I've slipped off the radar between my gp and hospy....

Key good luck with the presentation - let's know how you go. What's it on?

Ellangel bbighug.gif the beach sounds just like what you girls need. Sorry to hear you've got the bed to yourself again. At least we'll be seeing more of you here!

DH sailed yesterday so we had a day by the water, very relaxing. A nice weekend all round actually, now that the sun is out again. Today is domestic day (last stuff to do before rental inspection) then might do something nice with Ivy this arvo, a playdate or something. I have a bit of work to do while she naps but nothing major.

Found this little leaflet online, happiness increasing tips. WDYT? This is just the headings not the full description
count your blessings
cultivate optimism
avoid overthinking and social comparison
practice acts of kindness
nurture relationships
do more activities
replay and savor life's joys
commit to your goals
develop strategies for coping
learn to forgive
practice religion and spirituality
take care of your body

The leaflet is on this page:
http://www.thehappinessinstitute.com/freeproducts/
It's called Happiness Increasing Techniques

I think I'm doing ok with this, though I find the 2nd one hard (cultivating optimism) - it's about keeping a journal and imagining the best possible future for yourself and seeing the bright side of every situation. I find that difficult when I'm so 'stuck' (but in a nice way) with little tiny tackers! Hard to see a future beyond Oprah and housework!
