~Elliesmum~
Hey thanks ladies biggrin.gif I've got 45 fans now! can't hardly believe it, might have to start doing giveaways soon lol

sharon glad to hear it hehe, although I suspect its always cleaner than Ellies! Kayla remains to be seen, hopefully she'll be more like her brother.

Ok you have me intrigued, off to see whats happening in WDYT, hope its stll there
beaglebaby
Blondie, I'm sure I've got another can of worms in the cupboard if you've now used all of yours up! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and checking in regularly for wonderful news from your scan.

Sharon, what a gorgeous room, best of all it should do Ella for a long time as it's not character focused and it's very stylish.

Elliesmum, I love your tie-dyed clothes, just make sure you aren't under-pricing them, those Bonds singlets etc are about that without the dye. Have you thought about putting them on Made-It?

Chickenpox, I thought screening for CP immunity was one of the standard tests in early pregnancy, I know my GP routinely does it. I had to ring the vacc clinic to check if Lucas could have his, they said yes, but if he comes out in spots we're to keep them covered and keep DH away. I'll check again with the oncologist, but I'd rather get it done especially when we're around school so much.

Lucas was so cute at playgroup today climbing in and out of the cars and standing on a scooter and wondering why it wouldn't move, he refused to eat his fruit off the plate with the other kids, but as soon as I put it in his Snack Trap he was happy to munch on it.
~Elliesmum~
Thanks Beagle yes I did price them a bit low, I bought them for dyeing a while back and couldn't remember how much it was LOL. But figured its an introductory thing anyway wink.gif like an opening special I guess Tounge1.gif. I am going to try go get things on special though to keep prices down, but now I'm dyeing for orders it will be easier to work out how much it all costs after expenses too, I've been dyeing so much experimental and for Kayla I wasn't quite suire how much it costs. Will need more dye soon haha. Need to get to Target and see if they have any good quality shirts on special, and more from Best and Less before their special ends. I was going to source a "shop front" but so many use FB these days and procrastination was getting to me so I just did it Tounge1.gif I should check out madeit and the like as I was thinking about wahmnaps/ozebaby/minicuteture etc but thats another possibility, thanks! I might try and buy some wraps today too, I like dyeing wraps biggrin.gif I have some muslin here and could make some but I do find them time consuming.

Blondie I did check out your thread and did just write something and deleted it lol. I think you did the right thing in the end wink.gif btw there is NO way I'd post something like that on my FB or any of my friends
ellangel
1 more sleep, 1 more sleep!! I am so very excited as you can tell! I told DD1 I think I may have forgotten what Daddy looks like~ She told me, "well mummy, he is tall, brown hair and has a small beard (goatie)...you will remember him when you see him" BLESS her.

Even though she drives me crazy, she has kept me company these past few weeks.

Gotta go...they have the feltpens out. Groceries, bank and making easter hats today. xx

Elliesmum - make you sure you raise the prices after a month or something! I especially love the blue and white longsleeve and will be watching for some size 5-6's!

Beagle - thanks for the compliment on the room. Yes, the plan is to leave it that way until she may need a desk some day? Or do kids do their homework at the dining room table these days?

Blondie - hope you had a good night, sleep wise~ I beat you to the morning post, for once
littlemumma
Morning

Really enjoying sitting on the lounge this morning...could quite possibly sit here all day if I was able but must head off to work.

Sharon - LOVED Ella's room, just gorgoeus, you did a great job, love the bed.

Blondi - Good luck with the scan today.

beagle - how clever of Lucas, too cute.... they grow up so quickly don't they.

Better get off the couch, will come back later for a chat to all.
trinyweeny
Morning all

Elliesmum - The dyed stuff looks great.

Ellangel - Awwww how cute. How exciting though.

Blondie - It certainly doen't take much for a thread to go pear shaped. Still craving dip so heading out to get some.

Not much happening here today. Need to get some dip (LOL) and a puzzle for J for easter.
ellangel
ALL THE BERY BERRY BERRY BEST AT YOUR SCAN TODAY BLONDIE!!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
alimumof3
hi guys, read last night and then didnt get around to posting with Greys and PP on..

blondie good luck today! what time is your appointment?

sharon also meant to say i love ella's room. her bed is great. where does the trundle go though? arent they drawers?

triny mmm what flavour dip? my preg fave is corn relish. yum

thre is a sale on PP at the moment online, 10% off and free delivery. can give you the code if you dont get the emails. I usually buy thru the esale bit as its cheaper anyway! they have 2 tops for $25 girls long sleeved. I bought 4 tops for winter for DD and 3 pairs of socks for Oliver for $54.
littlemumma
Ali - another good eppisode of Greys and PP original.gif Don't know what I'd do without my TV shows. Great bargains from PP, I did get the email but I didn't really read it, must go back and have a look now and see what bargains I can pick up.

Sharon - hope you are cleaning the house for DH cool.gif

blondi - had a look at your WDT thread, got a bit heated didn't it, people get carried away don't they.

ellies - good job with your dyed clothes, hopeing your make a motsa!!!

triny - so what dip are you buying, I really feel like dip now. I love that Pumpkin chashew and something else (can't remember) but that is my fav at the moment but I'll never knock back the good old French Onion, an old fav.
alimumof3
littlemumma yes great episodes. Although i really want Violet to realise how much of a mistake it was to give Lucas away. I hope she has some kind of relationship with him. all very sad and hard to imagine a mohter doing that. (but yes i know its just a tv show!!)
also, dont you think they're fully plugging the lesbian action lately on greys?! tghey never used to go into that much detail. its a bit like Kevin and Scotty on B&S..
also, me and DH find it so annoying how the red haired dr (forget his name) kisses Christina. its like he's going break her head off. so rough!
trinyweeny
Ellangel - You will be proud I have just cleaned out the fridge. Once J goes for her sleep I am going to tackle the pantry.

Ali - The lesbian action on Greys is very full on. The red haired dr is Dr Hunt. Not sure of his first name going to have to google it now or it will bug me all day. ETA - OK back from google his first name is owen.

Dip - No idea what kind yet. think I will just stand there and go buy the first one I see. Although a sundried tomato one is sounding good.
alimumof3
ah yes of course, Owen Hunt. thanks triny!
littlemumma
Ummmmmm sundried tomatoe dip YUM, wish I could pop over for afternoon tea Triny.

Ali - yes the lesbian action is really in full swing isn't it....not really my cup of tea but anyway. Yeh that kissing was a bit attackish wasn't it, it really did look like he was going to rip her head off. I didn't realise Issy was really leaving the show, not happpy about that. The whole Violet thing I find very distressing. I think she is going to have some kind of relationship with this man that just lost his wife....and I'm hoping he'll help her have some kind of relationship with Lucas.....maybe I might go google PP.
trinyweeny
Littlemumma - I would love you to pop over for afternoon tea then I could fill you in on PP and Grey's as I am watching it at US pace.
melaniejasmin
Blondie - good luck today! I'm sure everything is fine especially as you said your tummy was getting bigger!

Well, my computer has died cry1.gif (at Dad's house now). guess who had all their essay stuff on said computer without putting it on a memory stick..... cry1.gif I was going ot do it yesterday, bt thought, nah, I'll do it in the morning.... well the computer wont start now!! I have called the computer person, but I know she is sooo hopeless and wont get back to me today. I have to start looking for more articles now because I dont have time to wait around... I am so peeved, it's been a fairly crappy couple of weeks. did I mention that the other day I managed to rip off half the bumper bar on the new car when I reversed out of the driveway? scrapped the side of the hedge and the hedge won.... glare.gif nothing going right at the moment.

OK, off to get started again on the essay... sad.gif BBL

bellygood
Sarina thanks for the update

Oh Blondie I am in shock, it is so very unfair. I can't imagine what you are going thru right now but want you to know you are in my thoughts. Will any further tests be done at this stage? Anyway that's not important right now, what's important is that you somehow get thru this terrible time. Thinking of you and Claudia and DH.
alimumof3
blondie oh I'm so sorry to hear that. that is just so unfair. sad.gif I really cannot believe it. Thinking of you all. hhugs.gif
ellangel
Sitting here shaking my head and still cant believe it either Ali! Why oh why?

Littlem - well there is not much cleaning to be done here. I have cleaned every night almost, the past 3 weeks!! LOL. Just did groceries and swept outside.

Ali - the trundle has usable drawers at the bottom...the 2nd lot up are pretend drawers and the trundle slides out. Even fits the inner spring that will be holli's eventually. I was impressed.

Better go get E
alimumof3
thats great sharon, did you say you got the bed off ebay?
Sccary
i have just text BLONDIE to see if she is OK after D&C and to express all your hugs and concerned posts wink.gif but no response so she may be in recovery. cry1.gif
How horrible to happen once for her let alone twice in a row!!!
Why or why I don't get why life has to Suck so much for the nice people and th e bloody 15year olds who don't deserve kids get pregnant.......what is the bloody meaning of life? just to F@#k with your head????
Sccary
sorry for vent having bad day anyway....
trinyweeny
Sarina - Thanks for the update. I know life just really sucks sometimes and it really is not fair.

Ellangel - The trundle bed does sound very good.

BTW - Semidried tomato dip has been purchased. I might have also bought some hot cross buns. Well they are mini ones from Woolies that I just had to have. I was good and avoided the creme eggs though.
cassi8
you have more strenght than me Triny.. I bought myself a pkt of the mini ones the other day for Easter in case Dh doesn't get me anything.. ph34r.gif HCBs are on my list to be purchased tomorrow! Going to get them early so they don't sell out! wink.gif

Sarina - Thanks for the update. I hope you are ok, you sound like you are having a terrible day! hhugs.gif
trinyweeny
Cassi - It helps that I know that I am getting some of the mini creme eggs on Sunday.

sarina - Vent away. I hope you are ok. bbighug.gif
Sccary
JUST GOT TEXT FROM BLONDIE
SHe is home and feeling OK, just glad it was done and over quickly.
Obviously ddown.gif but hopeing for another blondie cub soon hands.gif
beaglebaby
Sarina, I totally get your vent, I know too many people who are wonderful parents who have had problems having a family, then talk to my sister who is a foster carer and hear about some of the crappy parents out there and think how unfair it is. I hate that such terrible things can happen to lovely people.

Trundles, we've got them too for the kids, but ours don't have those extra draws. They will be perfect when the kids start having friends to sleep over, and ours have legs to lift them up to normal bed height, so they are even suitable for adults so we might just get rid of the spare queen size bed once Mum isn't coming to stay every few weeks. Don't want to make her uncomfortable when she's doing so much to help us.

Better go and get ready for school pick up, DH's Dr changed his appt to today too so I have a friend coming over to look after the kids while we're out, it will be tempting to stay out!!!
cassi8
Thanks Sarina for the update. original.gif
Bel Rowley
Hi girls. Thanks for all the hugs and well wishes. I'm still a bit in shock. Hopefully will be back to post more tomorrow, I think DH is going to stay home from work again to help with Claudia.
alimumof3
oh blondie, completely understandable to be in shock.
you just pop in when you're up to it.
bellygood
Sarina you're vent captures exactly what I was thinking! Just UNFAIR!

Blondie thanks for posting, hope DH can stay home, you need a good long lie in and probably lots of tears.

Me ok day today, playgroup this morning wore Ivy out (plus she woke three times during the night...). Long sleep while I got some work done, even had a nap myself, then more Wiggles... might take her out to the shops later to give DH a break (he's taken her for a drive to a mate's place). Silverside for dinner, DH loves it which is odd since he's Dutch and not raised on it... TBH it's not my favorite thing. Kept it simply with boiled veg, tomorrow might muster up the energy to make white sauce.

melaniejasmin
Blondie - hhugs.gif just spend tomorrow resting and crying. It's what you need to do. don't forget to take plenty of pain relief. I know when I had my D&C I didnt want to feel any more pain that I was feeling emotionally, and there is no need to. Dont forget to get an extension for your uni assignments.

BG - I dont really like silverside either, though I havent had it for ages and I dont think I am adverse to it as I was a child. Is your DH speaking Dutch to Ivy? I cant remember you saying...

Cassi - thanks for your offer about the computer. thankfully the Comp person rang back this morning and a guy came round just then to look at it (has to come back tomorow - he thinks it's the power supply or something). He looked just like an IT guy; black clothes and long hair tied in a pony tail wink.gif so I felt reassured!
ellangel
QUOTE
I didnt want to feel any more pain that I was feeling emotionally
Too true Meljas. Even though I had a natural missed M/C, I too felt the need to numb the pain towards the end, with panadol etc.

It does not even matter if you dont come in here or just read for awhile. Give yourself time to grieve. xx

Yum silverside Bellyg~! I made zuchinni slice but put corn and carrot in also.
seepi
Blondi = I's so sorry, and shocked to read your news.
Look after yourself.
Bel Rowley
Morning girls. What a bad night again. Claudia of course doesn't realise or care how upset her parents are and kept us both up most of the night. It was hard enough for both of us to get to sleep in the first place so we haven't had much rest.

I'm having so many bitter and horrible thoughts at the moment ddown.gif . I don't know how I'm going to face my Mothers Group friends, there are now 4 of them pregnant and probably a couple more to come in the next few months. I feel like I've had my turn for a loss and don't know why it's my turn again. I feel so terrible even admitting to that, because I wouldn't wish what I've gone through on anyone. But it still doesn't seem fair. I've tried to make myself and DH feel better by thinking about all the people worse off than us, who've had a much harder time conceiving and many who never get to have a baby, it doesn't really help though.
cassi8
bbighug.gif blondie. I'm not sure what else to say. Try not to take it out on C, she doesn't know why mummy and daddy are sad. I hope she has a nice big sleep for you today so you can get some rest. sad.gif
ellangel
Oh Blondie! Big hugs for you. It is so normal being mad at the world! Take time to grieve and try and put your head down when Claudia does today. I know that WHEN you eventually fall asleep, that is the only time the pain goes away.

Dont worry or think about where you are going from here right now. You have the Easter period to hide from those people and mums you see often and even the week after...just say Claudia is unwell!
I know, after my m/c, I held DD1 close and we escaped to parks on our own alot. Somewhere where I could have my sunglasses on! I could not bare to see others for awhile, even though they meant well...I had a huge fear of breaking down in public.

Take time. xx

Must go...Ella's easter hat parade and then morning tea. I had them in their pj's at the shops last night at 6.30pm, as I forgot to buy the coloured popcorn!!!
