Oh Blondie bbighug.gif Claudia is really being really trying atm. Sorry I don't have any advice maybe put her in a sleeping bag for all sleeps. shrug.gif
Pregnancy care - My first appointment is with my GP on Tuesday. Planning on going public hopefully in the birth centre. J was through the public system and I was happy with the care.
Health wise just a bit tired although today starting feel a bit yuck.

Littlemumma - Enjoy Wicked very jealous.

I was so exhausted last night I didn't really hear the party. It appears though there was no motorbike riding.

hhugs.gif blondie, how frustrating and I'm sorry that you had a falling out with DH.

DH just exploded over the idiots that keep leaving our pool gate unlocked and the aggressive attitude of the people that are trespassing and using the pool. I have never seen him so angry and I copped the lot so he scared the life out of me.

N was up half the night last night so tired today.. I was meant to be going to a baby shower but decided not to, due to the above and tiredness.

might BBL for proper personals.

Oh Cassi and Blondie hope the boys are in better moods this afternoon.

Blondie - Not sure how to fix that one with Claudia unfortunately little people know how to press buttons big time. Try to keep eating small snacks as big meals make you feel yucky when pregnant.

Sharon- I have discovered I love cleaning! Unfortunately that means I have become my mother! DH took the kids out for a couple of hours and I have scrubbed everything I feel so good original.gif Now to the ironing!

Beagle - why can they not just invent dishwasher fairies that stay around forever!

Ah my first day of my leave today I do not have to go back to that terrible place until 31st March! Everything is falling apart there at the moment and I shall be happy not to partake for a while!

And for the first time in months I got up this morning and did not feel tired - I am now exhausted due to all the cleaning but it is liberating, as it is just physical exhuastion rather than complete exhaustion! And I have had 3 full days without bleeds - big deal for me! If it continues I am going to buy some new undies next weekend original.gif The others need the bin as I never knew when it would hit.

tweedy08
Jsut a quick one from me as I wanted to make sure all my EB mummies were ok after the cyclone last night. Not sure if any of you are up that way.

Back later tonight to catch up!
ellangel
Yes we are all fine Tweedy. Nobody was up that way. Bellyg is more inland now from Cairns.

Key - you deserve some new underwear my love! That is so great the bleeding has ceased. I think you and I may become new best friends!! I moved so much furniture yesterday arvo and my house is so tidy. I warned DH I was chucking out so much stuff and selling alot on ebay.

Blondie - do you use disposables for MCN's?? Are MCN's harder to get off? Are you still putting the nappy on backwards? Um, put her in overalls during the day? That will stop her. I would bring back the sleeping bag also.
Sorry you and DH had a fight about all this. Like it was ALL your fault!! ?? WTF?

Oh will have to come back later. Holli is in the tent with Ella walking her around the room with a piece of ribbon. Bound to be an accident
tweedy08
Well my little miss has some severe nappy rash happening. I noticed her nappy area was looking a bit pinkish the other day but it wasnt getting any worse. I have jsut changed her this arvo & she has around 8 little blisters like it has been burnt This is how it usually goes if she has any dairy as she is intollerent to it but I know this time it cant be that as she has not had any access to dairy here at home. Only place is daycare but they know not to let her near any of that sort of stuff. Daycare is Wednesday though so surely I would have had more symptoms by now!

Only new thing I can think of is she has had grapes and an apple in the last day or so.

Anyways my question is it ok just to use a double fleece liner if I am putting zinc & casteroil cream on it? I have one long one that covers thw whole inside of the nappy & another that is sitting on the main area of the blisters. I just put her into a double boosted safari as the sidesnaps seem to sit better on her & I think would be more comfy tonight.

This is heartbreaking seeing her rash like this. I am overly careful now with her dairy since that incident a little while back which ended up in a massive arguement but thats a different story. Anyway, since then I have removed all dairy from her reach & when we have it we are very careful to make sure she cannot even get close to getting some. I might give her some pain relief too maybe?

What do you girls think? She is so upset. I wonder if thats why she has been taking her nappy off the last few days?
Bel Rowley
Tweedy- as you will see from my posts there doesn't need to be a reason for the nappy coming off! Claudia has not had any rash and she's taking it off constantly.

Ellangel - we are disposable users. I stopped putting the nappy on backwards as that did not make a difference. Neither is putting little pants over the top, she just takes them off and then the nappy. She has gotten so clever she can even take her nappy off through a bodysuit, although it is more difficult, and we don't have enough bodysuits to have her in them every day. I am planning to buy some of the singlet suits to wear under her clothes and will hope that makes a difference. I get the feeling she is recognising when she needs to go to the toilet and taking her nappy off to do it, which would be all well and good if she would go on the potty, but she won't sad.gif. Oh well, will keep trying different things.
melaniejasmin
maybe forget about the potty Blondie and go straight to the toilet? get a little inner seat thingie. I got mine from Kmart (about $7. measure the hole in the seat before going! - or you'll get one too small). then just try to see if she will go straight on the toilet. when you see her looknig like she is going to do a wee yell 'stop' and run her to the toilet. then make a big deal about it if she does a wee! (this is from the woman who is yet to TT but this is what I was told to do the other day).

Tweedy - I think a nappy liner that big will be fine. or if you are using the super dooper zinc and fish oil cream just try that with a sposie overnight. thats how I got rid of DS's bad blisters when he had them a while back.

lovely photo Sharon!

I'll be back tomorrow to post again. we all have colds here, and I am feeling hot and bothered as there is no breeze at all and still about 30C.
The woman bought my car this arvo as well! she was the only person to look at it, so now wondering if I sohuld have asked for more (only $1200 and in perfect condition)! I am feeling a little down about it too as it was my very first car and it has been with our family since 1995 (Dad bought it new then). It had lots of memories (some of them bad though!), and still every time I got into it I would think it was like a new car blush.gif ... anyway, new phase of life!

Off to lie in front of the fan....

tweedy08
Normally I would jsut put her in a sposie & lather it on thick till it heals. Cant afford them though until Wednesday & even went searching but there is none even floating around.

Well she is sound asleep now. I think it might be something she has eaten cause I gave her a dose od colic calm & she settled and dosed off within 15 mins. Maybe the apples or the grapes dont agree with her. Poor little thing sad.gif

BBS have to organise a late dinner. Hubby had an incident at work so has been held back for almost 2 hours. Hope he is home soon....I worry when I hear of this stuff when he is at work!
bellygood
Blondie bbighug.gif all I can say is: what happens in the first trimester stays in the first trimester! I recall having similar blowups with DH, when you are ill and fatigued it's hard to cope with the extra stress of disagreement. Hope you two have kissed and made up, and Miss C finds other ways to entertain herself!

Ellangel all fine here, actually beautiful weather as bad weather seems to have been sucked away into the cyclone... DH almost shed a tear watching the news, teh sight of sailing boats on the rocks (at Prosperpine?) was very emotional for him.

Key
what a day. Can understand how carthartic (sp?) a good old spring clean is. In theory at least. Never done it myself...

Went for a nice walk near the lake around midday, tried to find a cafe recently opened by friends and scored a nice free lunch in return for DH sorting some computer issues for them. Is a really beautiful open-air cafe (with a great fireplace for winter). already planning a romantic dinner for two...

My mum is up to her old tricks re constantly talking about my useless bro+his useless ex-wife/kids. Visited her last night and had to say 'NOT INTERESTED!' in no uncertain terms. She started to protest but then must have remembered our 'conversation' six months ago where I threatened her with expulsion!
ellangel
Poor Tilly. I find zinc works well also. And just use the curash powder for mild stuff.
I hope it is ok tomorrow.

Bellyg - you are so good keeping up your walking! Good on you. How many weeks are you now?

Blondie - all kids wee and poo when no nappy is on...just a sensation they get. Holli wees each night after her nudie run on the bathroom mat no matter how quickly I put her on the potty. Ella cried real tears the first time she 'let go' and did a real wee on the potty! Must feel so strange for them.

Thank goodness the weekend is over~~~~!!!!!!
Ella asked how many sleeps till Daddy is home and I said about 12 sleeps. She replied, "are you serious?" LOL
key4
Sharon - The study is next on my hit list! Jeepers so much paper comes in the mail why can't many more people offer you email versions? Kaidyn's latest line is "are you for real?"

Tweedy - do you have any antifungal cream at home to mix with the the Zinc cream? It sounds like there is a fungal involvement can you see any sign of white spots on the bottom? Vaseline on the top of the zinc can help too being so oily it creates a waterproof barrier.

Meljas - It is terribly hot here tonight as well and thunderstorms yucky weather but it would be great to see some rain! Last drop we had was november.
cassi8
Morning ladies!

Official result is about 2.5 kgs. biggrin.gif I've cracked the 90kg mark finally! Now to get my reward, a new handbag/mummy bag.

Meljas - its nice and cool this morning, so nice DH has only just left for work as he slept in! original.gif

tweedy - I hope T's bottom is a bit better this morning.

Blondie - maybe you need to break out the gaffa tape! laughing2.gif long legged body suits? nappy covers designed to go over cloth nappies?

Plastics cupboard was attacked yesterday and lots chucked so another one down! I had a set that was crap, the lids never stayed on properly so they were useless! GONE! Washed almost everything that went back in so its nice and clean now! I might try and work on the next cupboard today, most of the stuff in this one can just be packed into a box, just need to find the tape.

We had prof photos taken of all of us and N on Saturday and they look awesome. I will post some up after we get them and they have been scanned in. original.gif

ETA Sharon - such a cute pic!
trinyweeny
Cassi - Congrats on the loss. Good work on the cleaning.

Tweedy - hope Tilly's rash is better today.

Blondie - Cassi does have a good idea on the nappy covers. I have a couple of side snapping ones that might be good for Claudia. Let me know I can send you them to try if you are interested.

Bel Rowley
An uninterrupted night of sleep for both me and Claudia seems to have fixed our moods this morning, so I'm feeling positive about today. Have Claudia in a bodysuit and hoping that will keep the nappy on for most of the day at least. DH did apologise soon after I posted yesterday so we made up. I think the problem is I left him in charge of Claudia for most of the weekend and he gets frustrated with her so quickly.

Melanie - well done selling your car, I can imagine it would be emotional selling your first car. Would you believe I've never owned my own car? ph34r.gif Got by from 18-24 in Melbourne with walking, PT and bumming lifts of others, then DH and I moved overseas together and shared 1 car that whole time (always "officially" DH's). Since we've been back we've continued to use the car DH bought before we went overseas, so I still don't have my own.

Tweedy - I have heard some bad nappy stories from grapes, they don't seem to bother Claudia but perhaps that could be the cause.

Bellygood - the cafe sounds nice. Can't believe your mum is back to her old tricks, good on you for standing up to her.

Had some good news this morning, we've finally managed to win a baby bike seat on Ebay for a price we were happy with AND very near by for pickup. We're camping over Easter and planning to do lots of riding so I was worried we'd run out of time and we definitely didn't want to pay for a new one.

ETA - I got ahead of myself and skipped a few people!

Cassi - you sound so happy and positive, fantastic! Well done on the weight loss and your cleaning efforts. Can't wait to see your photos.

Triny - thanks for the offer, I think I will ask one of my MG friends if I can borrow some of hers to try. I'm still very tempted to start looking into MCNs for baby #2 but DH is not the slightest bit keen, even with the money argument which usually wins him over every time!
