hi everyone
Sorry been ph34r.gif and reading since weekend just feel flat and not up to posting.
have monkey on my knee so typing one handed.

KEY: I sent you an email wink.gif

BEAGLE: I will try call you today and releave your boredom

CASSI EASTER TRADITIONS: I like you wanted to create a 'family tradition' so last year we started.
I have started by singing the 'easter song my mum sung to me as a kid
"Here comes Peter Coton Tail
hoping down the bunny trail
hippity hoppity, hippity hoppity
easters on it's way"

Next I am baking easter shaped cookie and decorating them with the kids to give to their friends and teachers.
Craft wise before easter I will find something for them to make, a chicken with feathers this year to give to 'daddy'
On easter Sunday firstly the easter bunny leaves a small easter egg and some PJ's at their beds, (PJ's as this eliminates the amount of chocolate to give and always the time of year new pj's are out for winter)
Then we hide easter eggs in the garden/yard and once the kids are awake they 'hunt' for them. Followed by a big easter breakfast and hot cross buns.
Easter done... except if we visit parents/SIL & cousins
hope this helps biggrin.gif

BLONDIE: DD1 has come into our bed 2 mornings ion a row now at 5am and I feel for you I have a crinked neck from no bed too glare.gif Kids! she is 4year so it doesn't get better laughing2.gif mind you this just started this week and I don't like it one bit!
ok best clean up BBL

Hi all

Luck of the Irish to you! Happy St Patrick's Day!

Ali
good luck with the GTT... I have my head in the sand about this one, considering not doing it at all, or doing it 'late' eg 30w, or doing it myself as I still have my finger pricking torture kit. Not as accurate but good enough for me!

Cassi great question, can't wait to read others thoughts on it. I have no idea what to do at Easter, probably pretty simple this year but over time I'd like to develop a 'tradition' - I'm thinking eggs for brekky, early morning easter egg hut and maybe going to mass? I think Christmas and Easter Sunday are two pretty important Catholic mass days. Don't be surprised if NONE of that happens this Easter though!

Blondie yuck yuck yuck 'co-sleeping' is the pits! These toddlers sleep like babies, we... well... we don't.

Beagle
you really are burning the midnight oil! Was it really 3.30am when you posted? Go to bed woman! Hope 18m check and DH treatment go ok.

Seepi I say go for it and shout yourself some yummy easy lunches, one of the few treats you'll enjoy for a while! Don't worry, Ivy also nowhere near ready for TT... I'll just cross that bridge when I come to it.

Off to storytime at library with little miss fashion plate, who found her size 3/too large winter PJs in teh cupboard and insists on wearing them today. All day. She is also into drawing so I bought her some 'kids' feltpens, big mistake. She needs something much more 'wipeable' from the floor, even though these say 'washable' it's still scary seeing her draw tot he edge of the page and then onto the floor....

Morning campers,

Happy St Pat's Day original.gif

Had a really nice birthday dinner with the family last night. Mum cooked a sensational bakey and I was spoilt with lots of lovely gifts....and best of all the boys were on their best behaviour original.gif

Easter - we do an Easter Egg hunt with the little eggs and we have Hot Cross Buns for breaky, that is our traiditon. Kai also gets a bigger type egg....Max hasn't received eggs before, I think I will get him a DVD, I want to get him that Best of Wiggles one that has come out. Church - yes I have good intentions of taking the boys...

BG - lol at Ivy....I really love the name Ivy. Enjoy storytime - is Ivy really going to go out in her PJs, please take a pic and post it for us, how cute. I agree Church is important at Easter.

Ali - good luck with the GTT.

key - my goodness, are you saying they were suppose to take the implanion thingo out but they didn't???? No wonder you are ropeable, someone must be held responsible!

Sarina - oh I remember that song, sweet.

beagle - bbighug.gif bbighug.gif

Back from a swim, smelly old aqua aerobics class and no hot footballers there today sad.gif. My leather skirt arrived - it's gorgeous and fits perfectly, so happy!

Ali - how exciting doing baby washing! I'm so looking forward to starting to prepare, two weeks to wait until my OB appointment/scan now and then I can start getting more excited.

Sarina - why am I not surprised you have wonderful easter plans? Sounds like a great day ahead for all original.gif.

Bellygood - Ivy sounds like Claudia drawing on anything and everything. I give her (washable) crayons most of the time but she still gets hold of my pens occasionally too. She's managed to draw on several library books when I wasn't watching ddoh.gif.

Easter - we will be camping at Rutherglen so won't be able to organise anything too extravagant. Maybe a little egg hunt for Claudia then Mummy can eat them laughing2.gif.
melaniejasmin
hello everyone,

Alexander had his chicken pox Vax this morning. he is sleeping now. hope it is a long one ph34r.gif

glad the skirt fits well Blondie! I've never bought any clothes on the internet before. I would be worried that they wouldnt fit properly. I always see good things though.

Ali - good luck with GTT today. I have been now told that i dont need the 28 week one as I had the giant one at 16 weeks! WOHO! I think 1 per pregnancy is enough.

Easter - we dont have any traditions (and arent religious in any way), but we did used to have an egg hunt when we were little. I might do that, but nothing this year as I think Alexander will still be too young.

OK, best try and get a little more work done before the boy wakes up! (I'm eating jelly beans and jelly babies today - having a break from the MnMs wink.gif )

Bel Rowley
Sorry my internet is acting crazy on me.

Just back from Dominos lunch with DH, its nice that we work so close and can share lunch occasionally. Before you all worry, I only had a sambo and was within my main meal guidleines for the day! Shake and vegies for dinner though.

key - huh.gif how awful for you! I hope you are able to get it all sorted out.
Blondie - wow, that skirt arrived quick. Great news that it fits as well. I don't think I would buy clothing off ebay either, I struggle to find clothes in shops that fit well. Bummer on the not so nice swim and the interrupted sleep last night.

Seepi - That was my weekly indulgence as well, love buying my lunch (pre optifast). I say enjoy it while you can, if it makes your day easier and that little bit better then its all worth it! original.gif

Thanks for the ideas and sharing what you do at Easter. N will do craft type things at CC. HCBs for brekky sounds like a great idea though! Maybe I should have a day off optifast over easter ph34r.gif or 2. We are going to the Easter show this year as well. I didn't want to buy anything much as we are going to the show but just something for Easter Sunday. Might buy a little bag of eggs to trail and something for him to play with or keep, Wiggles DVD is a good idea littlemumma. Sarina can I come to your place?? biggrin.gif sounds like lots of fun!

Meljas - Hoping Alexander has a nice big sleep for you. I'm on the wait and see with N for his vax, he has to be well before the Dr will give it to him.

Littlemumma - it so nice when you are able to enjoy a nice meal with family and the kids behave! I am happy for you that you had a lovely birthday! happy.gif

Ok must get back to work..
cassi8

Hi Girls

Cassi - Ooooo how exciting and distracting.

Key - That's really concerning. I hope once its removed and you get the transfusion you will be able to get your health back on track. What absolute disgrace and a waste of time, effort and money I would be sooooooooooooooo angry.

Blondie - Yay that the skirt fits hopefully you will get some use out of it before you start to pop. Bummer on no hot footballers they really should let you know when they are going to be there.

Easter - Thinking of buying Jacqui a book and a few small white chocolate eggs. Although I really do like your idea Sarina.

Ali - GTT went ok today.

Jacqui and I went to the beach this afternoon. J had a lovely time playing in the sand might head to the beach on Friday. Great way to fill in some time and get out of this house.
bellygood
Littlemumma what's a bakey? Must be yummy whatever it is.

Speaking of yummy, how good are 'panini press quesadillas' - take a wrap (flat, not rolled), top with chopped chicken, grated cheese and maybe some sauce, top with another wrap and cook in the panini press like a two-sided pizza. Yum! Quick! No washing up! Unfortunately also no vegies.... might throw a salad together to ease my conscience.
ellangel
Sorry I was not around today. Had many things to do around the house...

1 week down, 2 to go. Why is it going so slow?

Just made the yummiest prawn thai stirfry. Enough for 5 nights!

Key - Oh, I would be absolutley fuming if I were you! My gosh...what an incompetent dr. You would have had more success taking it out yourself~~ Do you think it is the cause of your bleeding, vomiting, etc?

Cassi - cool helicopter pics on FB! Nice you had lunch with DH and got to chat with no distractions.

Cath - waiting for any size 1 clothes but am guessing it will be summer things. Holli does not need anymore clothes but still want to look!

Meljas - saw you commented on some pink things to buy. Was I hiding under a rock when you announced you were having a girly whirly???

night guys...gotta go clean up as my parents are coming tomorrow and I am ducking out to get my haircut.
tweedy08
As soon as I post up the size one stuff ill come straight here & let you all know, although those on FB will know since ill publish them to the newsfeed wink.gif

I was wondering the same thing when I saw all the pic comments from Mel....hehe. I have actually sold a couple of things to a lady who doesnt want anyone knowing what she is having jsut yet )not from here girls dont stress....haha)

Ill get stuck into the size 1s tomorrow. Not sure if there will be a huge amount & I do know that a few of her shirts do have a light stain around the chin area from drool.......one downside to soy milk! Although it may soak out so who knows....lol. Ill let you know on the pic if it is marked or not. Depending on how much there is I might jsut bag it into a 3kg bag & put a set price on it. It will cover winter & summer I think as she has been in a 1 for a while now.

Key - I have been reading your posts & I really am feeling for you sad.gif {{{GBH}}}

Cass - woohoo on the helicopters

Speaking of healthy stuff we all actually had fish & salad tonight. Even hubby didnt complain about salad! Nor should he when we had to spend a fortune on fruit just for his assessment!! He is doing a Mastering Digital Photgraphy course & one of his assignments is to take pics of a bowl of fruit....haha. Ah well lots of healthy snacks for us all to eat wink.gif
Bel Rowley
I thought I posted again yesterday afternoon but obviously not! We have Claudia's 18 month MCHN check today. I'm very annoyed with the woman because she called yesterday begging me to move my appointment from 10 to 10:30. Normally not such a big deal, except that DH has an 8:30-9:30 meeting at his work's 'other' office, plan was for him to come from there, drop us at the nurse, go on to work and we would walk home. Now I will have to hang around up there for half an hour. It's too far for me to walk both ways.

Cassi - gosh you are good going to Domino's and eating healthily. When I am dieting I can't go near anywhere like that because my willpower will fly out the window.

Triny - how far do you live from the beach? Claudia loves it when we go, which only tends to be when we visit my parents as Melbourne beaches don't excite us much.

Bellygood - I make quesadillas in the frying pan, you can make them more vegi-fied if you want to of course. I usually make a mince & kidney bean mix with spices, tomato and capsicum, put between tortillas with lots of cheese, fry, then top with guacamole. I tell myself that avocado is healthy fat.

Ellangel - hmm, I missed Melanie's comments, off to check now! Your stirfry sounds delish.

Tweedy - if I knew I was having another girl I would snap up some of your newborn stuff!
trinyweeny
Morning all

Blondie - I live about 20mins from the beach. I had great plans of heading to the beach more this season hmmm didn't happen. Might head there tomorrow as well and take advantage of this beautiful weather. How annoying on the appointment.

Ellangel - Please send some of that stirfry my way sounds so yummy.

DH is heading out today in my car so better go and get everything I need from the car. Looks like the fill for the land will arrive on Monday. Typical though its supposed to start raining around on Sunday. SIGH!
alimumof3
just checked out Meljas's comments on FB re the clothes...we are all intrigued!!

forgot to add: OB office rang. gtt is fine but haemoglobin low (even though i've been taking iron 3x wk for the last mth). so now i have to take each day. I'm hoping that is why i've felt really tired and will pick up from now.
