Marika, looove your sig! the hats are so gorgeous on your little miss.
Mel, you were up pretty close, weren't you?! Great sig. Hope you had a ball. Oh, did you see Hungry Beast last week? "If Lady Gaga wasn't famous" skits all the way through, eg washing her own clothes at the laundromat (clank, clank, rattle) PMSL.
Sandra, is it something you can talk to R about? I guess it's a bit hard to. I hope you have sorted through your feelings of sadness. Regret is such a difficult thing to deal with. All I can suggest is give your boys a big cuddle, all three of them.
Kat, do you have an anterior placenta? Or are you just busy, do you think? I didn't feel Meggie moving around much, but at 17 weeks, I don't think I really felt anything at all. I really noticed it closer to 20 weeks I think. Poor Patty. I hope he is doing better now.
Thanks for the vacuum cleaner advice, ladies. Duh, I have a Choice membership and haven't looked it up yet. I am thinking a Dyson too, our current vacuum is a Wertheim but the motor is on its last legs (OK, so it's 12 years old). $385 for their brand replacement or $265 for a cheapie motor, was the quote. I can get half a Dyson for that! Have to see what DH likes 'cause he's so tall. He needs the longest reach telescopic handle (but it means he does most of the vacuuming!), but I think Dyson ones are OK for height...
Well, I can top Patty's temp unfortunately. Eleanor is cutting her 2yo molars (as I mentioned). So, she had high-ish temps on Wednesday night and Thursday, ranging from 37.5 to 38.3, and I was giving her Panadol and Nurofen to keep it down as best as I could. But I took her to the doctor on Thursday at midday and she spiked a temp while we were in the waiting room.

One minute she was sitting happily drawing, the next she was whingey and crawling all over me and trying to get Meggie out of the pram so she could sit in it. The doctor said "oh my God" when she took the temp, 40.3.

all right! So she's on ABs for an unidentified bacterial infection the doctor said is "in there somewhere". The temp has been normal since Friday, but she stayed home from CC. I had to go to work so took Meggie to CC and Eleanor stayed home with DH (nice bonding time

). Poor baby, but you wouldn't have known it on Friday, she was chirpy and played with daddy happily all day.
Eh, time for bed. Night all. Take care.
