Busy last day. DH is home. He's doing 12 on 9 off ATM but is home a fw days early with the rain.

Mands - Yay....carpet...boohoo...doing the furniture. Were you a hosty/flight attendant??? (sorry, not sure of the correct term). If so, do u miss that? & do you get jealous of DH'swork? Not sure how I would handle being at home with kids whilst DH flies here & there all week. I'm sure he works hard butttttttt.........
Bec - A sleepover...how lovely!! Do u get to do that often? Who looks after Ethan?
Mel - Hows work going? R u back FT?
Dylmah - Bummer on the computer. Hope its sorted soon for u.

Better get moving with the school run. Will have to wake CR otherwise she'll sleep till 8:30. DH has gone hunting so I can't leave her sleep. She needs it though. Think she's cutting molars.
Damn rain...I love it but....I left my RED shag pile rug outside to air the otherday & now its sodden!! Will probably take a few straight sunny days to dry it & it aint happening. Don't want it to get smelly.

So gotta go.
CU later

Nat - Ethan goes to either my parents or DP's Mum, he probably does sleepovers once a month which is a nice break!

Scan is this afternoon and I am so nervous! I have not been feeling bub move as much yesterday and today so who knows what is going on!
Small Potatoes
Bec OMG I am soooooo excited. Can't wait to find out. You better not go to the shops on the way home this time original.gif . I am not entirely sure what carpet we got except to say it is soooooo soft. Will find out from DH.

nat Yeah I used to be a hostie. i don't really miss it only the fact that if I had to go back to work that would be the ideal job, good income and very flexible - if I was still thre I would have a bit of seniority. Am only jealous of DH when he gets to pax in first class especially on the beautiful new airbus.

Mel How is work going?

Georgia I can't imagine what it must have been like for your family. I went there a few years ago for work and it isn't particularly safe regardless of skin colour, though I didn't have any problems.

AFM I still can't seem to shake this tummy bug. Have mild annoying cramping and feel sick.gif and very tired.

1hr until the appointment! I will try to come on asap with details.

Mands - hope you start feeling better soon!

So need to pee but not allowed sad.gif
Small Potatoes
Every time I have had a 12 week or 20 week scan (which is only twice of each) I have been told NOT to pee and then get in there and they say the baby is nice and high go and wee ohmy.gif

bec8112
Mands - I think it is mixture of nerves, excitement and full bladder!
Fabulous
Bec- good luck. It's going to be a girl I say.

Mands- what's PAX? Do you guys get free tickets?

Georgia- sorry to hear whaty your family went through. A couple of years ago DH has to show some South African mine managers through the mine that he works at. Anyway the visitors were so shocked when they realised that they would have to use the same changeroom as the 'workers' They were expecting that professionals and non-professionals would be segregated.

Mel- that plan to live in the UK sounds awesome . How lucky are you guys to be able to swap with another firie.

Nat- what is your DH hunting?
Fabulous
Bec- I made the mistake of filling up my bladder when I had scans with my older kids. Never again, once I got to my third pregnancy I realised that it's a waste of time and just makes you feel uncomfortable. People say that the modern machines don't require a full bladder anyway.

Ros Paxing is when airline crew go as passengers rather than operating (working). We also call passengers pax eg there are 250 pax on board. So my lazy a*se husband has passengered (paxed) all the way to LA in first class. We pay 10% of the full fare, but as LAH has been with Qantas for more than 10 years he has a couple of free long service leave trips.

Well Ladies all seems to be well at the 19w scan ( going to pick up the report soon ) but for the all important announcement

Well he said he could not see any boy bits so he is going with girl! I am still in shock, I was so expecting another boy. We even had a boys name picked out so now have to start thinking of girls names.
Fabulous
Congrats Bec. original.gif Woo Hoo a pidgeon pair.
Small Potatoes
yay Bec. I had a dream that you were having a babygirl.gif

Woohoo...a girl...how lovely Bec.
Ceres - he hunts pigs & feral deer. I used to enjoy it & think it all rather exciting but just so over the whole hunting thing. I've got better things to waste my time on than killing animals. DH & I are in 2 different worlds sometimes.
Just a quick post here tonight...still on dial up speed...its killing me. Few more days still.
themelster
Just a quickie to say CONGRATS Bec!!!!!!!!!! So cool that you are going to have a little sister fir Ethan to defend when he gets older!!! Lovely!!

Work is busy - I'll try and get in tomorrow.
bec8112
Thanks all!

I have just ordered a PINK nappy in the BBH sale so it better come out a girl.

Mands - I still have to decide on the Auriel nappy, I will try and look tonight or tomorrow. Do you know if she has done any new stuff lately?
bec8112
Morning all!

i am off to the GP this morning and then maybe to the shops so might not be in much today. I just might have to buy something pink for the bub! I also need some maternity things as I got rid of most my stuff!

So annoyed! Did not buy the BBH last night as it was getting late and just went to do it and all the colours I want in Medium are sold out! That will teach me to not buy when I hear about the sale. Oh well they should have another sale soon I hope! I really want to try the petites side snap nappy!
Fabulous
Bec- Hopefully they will restock them before the sale ends. Brands such as babybeehinds are making cloth nappying so economical which is awesome. My mum is looking to buy something for my brothers baby, so I suggested the petites to her. Do you use any brands other than babybeehinds and ittis?

themelster
What do you think of the GF side snap you got off me Bec??
Fabulous
Oh I thought I would add that I read that you can get an extra 10% off the babybeehinds withe the code bounty.
bec8112
Mel - yeah I like the GF but seems bulky in the bum area, maybe I am not putting it on correctly. I will buy some girl ones. What other side snaps do you use??

Ros - thanks for the code, might go and buy some small petites! Hope they do restock the mediums. I use ittis, BBH, bambooty, bumgenious, and a GF and one Mands made me. My mum who is a MCN novice likes the bambooty the best as they are easier for her to put on Ethan.

Forgot to write : GP visit was all good, HB on doppler was 156bpm. He said my fundal? height was around 24 weeks, he said most bumps are still under the belly button at 19w and mine is well above that! I think I must have a short torso and small pelvis which may mean another breech baby!

Bought 2 pairs of Jeans West maternity jeans, maternity 3/4 shorts from Target and a maternity black dress from Pumpkin Patch. Spent too much money and DP is not going to like me!
Fabulous
Morning all,
Jack's night nappy leaked again at the front. The problem is that he is always playing with his boy bits and when we get him up in the morning it is pointing upwards and right at the top of his nappy. huh.gif Every time I give him a nappy change he hangs on for dear life and cries when I do up the nappy and he is forced to let go.

Bec- I'm glad to hear that you bought those clothes, a girl needs to feel good when she's pregnant. Have you seen the fairies of Tilbrook fabric? It is really beautiful and I have seen it on auriels. I also like the babushka dolls, that's only if you are getting a girly nappy of course.

Mel- How are you and Tom going? I hope you are both settling in okay.
